Deckbuilding in Genius Invokation TCG entails the utilization of various card types, such as character cards, artifact cards, weapon cards, and action cards. In the latest update, Version 4.1, new character cards and action cards were introduced. Anticipated in the upcoming Version 4.2 update are additional content additions, such as new characters and expanded map areas.

A recent leak has revealed that five new cards will be added to the Genius Invokation TCG in the upcoming Version 4.2 update of Genshin Impact. This update is scheduled to be released in early November. The in-game TCG of the HoYoverse RPG has been regularly updated since its initial launch, with each patch introducing new characters, cards, and gameplay options. In the previous Version 4.0 update, Qiqi, Albedo, and Lisa were added as new characters to Genius Invokation TCG. Now, the upcoming update will offer players more action cards to enhance their gameplay.

In Genius Invokation TCG, players need to strategically utilize a variety of cards to optimize their decks. In addition to selecting Character Cards as the foundation of their decks, players can also incorporate Artifact and Weapon cards, which grant unique bonuses to different characters and playstyles. Action and Event Cards provide powerful effects that can be used to change the course of a game, such as drawing additional cards, healing, or empowering units. With the upcoming update, players will have more options for enhancing and upgrading their decks.

A recent Reddit post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has unveiled five new Action Cards that will be introduced in Genius Invokation TCG Version 4.2. This update will showcase two new equipable Artifact cards inspired by the Ocean-Hued Clam and Gilded Dreams artifact sets from Genshin Impact. The 4.2 update for Genius Invokation TCG will also feature a new Location card called "Stormterror's Lair," an Arcane Legend titled "In Every House a Stove," and an Event Card named "Lyresong." No specific in-game effects have been disclosed for any of these upcoming TCG cards.

No characters have been officially announced for Genius Invokation TCG's Version 4.2 update yet. However, Genshin Impact introduced several new cards in Version 4.1, including three Character Cards featuring Yaoyao, Wanderer, and Dehya. In addition, Version 4.1 introduced six new Action Cards, such as the Moonpiercer Weapon and Crown of Watatsumi Artifact. The update also revamped the Weekly Challenge system, expanding rewards to include Arena of Champions and Co-Op challenges.

Genius Invokation TCG's latest update arrives ahead of the highly-anticipated Version 4.2 release. HoYoverse recently announced two featured characters for the November update, including the Hydro Archon Furina. Version 4.2 is also expected to expand Fontaine's map further, adding an eastward expansion and a new port town. Whether it's new characters, locations, or TCG updates, Version 4.2 aims to cater to every Genshin Impact fan.
