According to a recent leak, the six playable characters that will be included in Mortal Kombat 1 DLC pack 2 have been revealed. However, fans should be cautious in believing this information. Despite Mortal Kombat 1 not being released yet, NetherRealm has already announced the contents of its initial DLC pack, Kombat Pack 1.
The first Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 1 will introduce Ermac, Quan Chi, and Takeda Takahashi from previous Mortal Kombat games. Additionally, it will feature three guest fighters: Homelander from The Boys, Omni-Man from Invincible, and Peacemaker from DC Comics. Alongside these fighters, there will be five Kameo fighters: Ferra, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Tremor. The upcoming Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat 1 is rumored to include Noob Saibot, Kano, and Sareena, with Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, and Doomslayer as guest fighters. However, fans should await an official announcement for confirmation. Past leaks regarding Mortal Kombat 1 DLC have proven to be correct, so there is a possibility that this one holds true as well. The leaked information suggests that Rain, Drahmim, Bo Rai Cho, Hsu Hao, and Moloch will join as Kameo fighters.

While Kano's absence from the base roster of the rebooted Mortal Kombat 1 may disappoint some fans who were expecting all the original fighters, others will be pleased to know that he will still be included in the game as downloadable content. However, it will take some time before players can get their hands on him.
Including more DC Comics characters in the guest fighters roster would be a logical choice for Mortal Kombat. The franchise has a rich history with DC, evident from the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game and the various crossover characters introduced in subsequent years. There have been previous rumors regarding Doomslayer's inclusion in Mortal Kombat 11, so it is possible that he might finally make his debut in Mortal Kombat 1.
Despite the frequent accuracy of Mortal Kombat leaks, fans are advised to temper their expectations. It is worth noting that Ash Williams from Evil Dead was leaked multiple times for Mortal Kombat 11, with even some data-mining efforts finding evidence of his supposed addition to the game. However, it ultimately did not come to fruition. The same caution should be applied to any character leaked for Mortal Kombat 1's second DLC pack, as fans should bear in mind that leaks may not always translate into reality.
Mortal Kombat 1 launches September 19 for PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X.
