The official AEW Twitter account recently announced the release date for AEW Fight Forever's new Stadium Stampede mode. In a video, Kenny Omega and AEW president Tony Khan revealed that the mode will be launched on August 24, a few days before AEW's All IN pay-per-view event at London's Wembley Stadium. The video also showcased new footage of wrestlers battling it out in various areas using folding chairs, horses, and utility carts.

According to VGC, the timing of Stadium Stampede's release might be beneficial for AEW Fight Forever. Since the announcement of the mode in July, the game has experienced a decline in player count on Steam. On Monday, the total number of players dropped to a mere 30, with only 24 logging in on Tuesday. While this decrease could be attributed to fans playing the game on consoles and the lack of cross-platform support, it raises concerns about whether there will be enough players to fill the 30-wrestler line-up in Stadium Stampede upon its launch.
