THQ Nordic recently revealed the preorder incentives and wrestler additions that will come with the AEW Fight Forever season pass, much to the delight of fans who have been eagerly anticipating news since the game's announcement in December 2020. Collaborating with wrestling company Yuke's, the game developer aims to deliver a classic wrestling experience to modern consoles and PC, with its anticipated release set for June 29. Although not all the characters have been announced yet, popular favorites like Kenny Omega, Britt Baker D.M.D, and an authentic-looking Freshly Squeezed Orange Cassidy have all been confirmed for the game.
Players who preorder any version of AEW Games' new title will be privy to a Matt Hardy pack that includes both his regular persona and his alternate Broken Matt Hardy persona. Additionally, the first season pass is comprised of three packs that will unlock two wrestlers each, as well as four additional minigames. The FTR: Revival Pack boasts Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, as well as minigames JoinUs and Deth Race-X. The Limitless Bunny Bundle combines The Bunny and Keith Lee, along with minigames MJF Car Thrash and Sloth Sling. Finally, the pass is rounded out by The Hookhausen Very Handsome, Very Evil Pack, which features popular entertainers HOOK and Danhausen. The pass can be purchased separately or as part of the AEW Fight Forever Elite Edition, which includes the first season pass and the Matt Hardy preorder bonus, in addition to early access to the game on June 28.
The upcoming release of Fight Forever has been highly anticipated by gaming enthusiasts and dedicated wrestling fans alike. With the inclusion of popular wrestlers such as MJF and the Young Bucks, players are sure to be excited to enter the virtual ring and experience the various game modes. However, the announcement of the first wave of additional wrestlers has sparked questions regarding why current AEW tag team champions FTR are only available behind a further paywall.
Despite this, the excitement surrounding the release of this game has been palpable, with players eagerly anticipating its arrival. The developers have provided fans with glimpses of the game's progress, and even the wrestlers themselves have been promoting it. Recently, Ricky Starks shared a sneak peek of the Switch version of Fight Forever, adding to the anticipation of its impending release.
AEW Fight Forever launches June 29 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
