Exciting Updates Unveiled in Genshin Impact's Version 4.5 Livestream

Discover the latest features in Genshin Impact's Version 4.5, including the unveiling of the Chronicled Wish Banner and a showcase of Chiori's gameplay in the recent livestream event.

Genshin Impact has recently announced a new type of banner for Version 4.5 called Chronicled Path. This banner will allow players to specifically pull for a designated character or weapon, offering a generous way to obtain older characters like Albedo or Eula, standard characters like Jean or Diluc, and even previously unobtainable weapons like Beacon of the Reed Sea and Hunter's Path.

The details about this new Event Banner and its Chronicled Path will be shared at a later date. The focus of Version 4.5's Special Program livestream is on Chiori, who was first introduced in Version 4.3's Flagship Event. Chiori is a 5-Star Geo Sword character in Genshin Impact, whose damage will increase with both ATK and DEF. Unlike Navia, Chiori works best in a team with other Geo characters, especially those who can create constructs like Zhongli. Additionally, her signature weapon is expected to be the top choice for both Chiori and Albedo, making it a sought-after weapon for fans of Mono Geo teams.

Understanding the New Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish Banner

The new banner type in Genshin Impact, known as the Chronicled Wish Banner, allows players to embark on a special path using Intertwined Fates. This unique feature lets players choose from a selection of 5-Star characters and weapons that have not recently been featured on the Limited Event Banner. In Version 4.5, players will have the opportunity to select characters from Mondstadt such as Eula, Mona, Albedo, Klee, Diluc, and Jean. Additionally, players can choose from 5-Star weapons including the Skyward series, Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, Wolf's Gravestone, as well as Tighnari and Dehya's signature weapons.

Players can use their Intertwined Fates on the banner of their chosen Chronicled Path in Genshin Impact. When pulling a 5-Star character or weapon on the new banner, there is a 50:50 chance of getting the chosen character or weapon directly. If players do not win the 50:50, they will receive another item from the same category. For example, aiming for a character will result in receiving another character if the 50:50 is lost, and the same goes for weapons. However, players only need one Fate Point to secure their chosen 5-Star, making it more generous than the Epitomized Path used on the Weapon Banner.

Aside from the Chronicled Wish Banner, players can also use their pulls on the featured Event Banners in Genshin Impact Version 4.5. Chiori will be showcased with Itto in the first half, while Neuvillette and Kazuha will be featured in the second half. The Flagship Event in Version 4.5 will be based in Mondstadt and will focus on alchemy, with appearances by Sucrose and Diona.

Editor's P/S:

The introduction of the Chronicled Path banner in Genshin Impact is an exciting development that addresses a long-standing desire among players to obtain specific characters and weapons. This new banner type offers a generous and direct path to acquiring desired items, removing the frustrating reliance on random luck. The inclusion of older characters like Albedo and Eula, who have been unavailable for an extended period, is particularly welcomed.

The details of the banner, such as the specific characters and weapons available and the mechanics of the 50:50 chance, are still to be revealed. However, the overall concept of the Chronicled Path banner is a positive step towards improving the gameplay experience for Genshin Impact players, providing them with more control and flexibility in obtaining their desired items.
