Minior, Cetoddle, Cetitan, Stakataka, and Blacephalon are allegedly coming to Pokemon GO over the next two months.
The release of Shiny Cryogonal is scheduled for December 15. According to the recently leaked content roadmap, there are also various upcoming events mentioned, one of which is the potential Vanillite Community Day taking place in January 2024.
A recently leaked information suggests that Minior, Cetoddle, Cetitan, Stakataka, and Blacephalon will make their debut in the popular game Pokemon GO within the next two months, ending in January 2024. Alongside these new additions, there will also be a series of limited-time events. This leak implies that Niantic, the developer based in San Francisco, plans to reduce the number of missing creatures in Pokemon GO during the upcoming holiday season. Since the launch of the game in the summer of 2016, Niantic has consistently added new species to Pokemon GO. The next wave of additions will include twelve Generation 9 Pokemon as part of the recently announced Festival of Lights event, running from November 7 to November 12.
Beyond that, according to a recent Discord leak spotted by Reddit user Infinite-Set-2590, Niantic has already planned out the game's content roadmap until early next year. The leak reveals that the plan starts with a Falling Stars event on December 5, which will supposedly introduce Minior to the popular AR game. Following this, a two-part holiday event is expected to commence ten days later, during which Niantic plans to introduce Cetitan and Cetoddle, a Generation 9 evolutionary line that is currently missing from the game.

Vanillite Community Day (January) will also mark the debut of the shiny Cryogonal, according to the same source. Introduced in late 2019, the Generation 5 creature has not yet had its shiny version unveiled in Pokemon GO. Therefore, those currently working towards completing the Pokemon GO level 45 challenge may consider postponing their reward claim. If this leaked information is accurate, starting from December 15, there will be a possibility of encountering a shiny Cryogonal at the end of the challenge.
The holiday event's second part is rumored to include a Wyrdeer Raid Day, and leaked information suggests that Niantic is planning Keldeo Elite Raids in Pokemon GO throughout the final month of 2023. Additionally, a new Community Day is said to be scheduled for a two-day period ending on Saturday, December 16. Considering Niantic's past events, it's likely that this Community Day will feature multiple creatures from previous years, not just exclusive to 2023.
A more traditional Community Day featuring Vanillite is rumored to take place sometime in January. Furthermore, the newly surfaced leak claims that Niantic is planning to introduce Stakataka and Blacephalon to Pokemon GO as part of an Ultra Beast event in early 2024.
Pokémon GO made its debut in the summer of 2016, following a trial run as an April Fools' prank on Google Maps. This augmented reality (AR) mobile application has since achieved unprecedented success and remains one of the most popular mobile games globally. Developed by Niantic, the app has generated billions in revenue.
