Exciting Confirmation: Genshin Impact's 38 Special Program Livestream - Mark Your Calendars!

Genshin Impact unveils the highly-anticipated Special Program livestream schedule for update 38, disclosing the precise date and time for this exciting event

Genshin Impact's official social media accounts have announced the date and time for the highly anticipated Special Program unveiling update 3.8. In preparation for each new update, developer HoYoverse traditionally holds a live stream event where they unveil a plethora of exciting content, such as fresh characters, weapons, and events.

The current Genshin Impact update, 3.7, has introduced a solitary new character named Kirara, who was prominently featured in the inaugural banner cycle. As the community eagerly awaits the arrival of the game's next major region, rumors have been circulating that update 3.8 will be jam-packed with thrilling new additions.

Previous leaks in Genshin Impact have disclosed that the forthcoming update 3.8 will unveil a new limited region situated in the Sumeru nation. The leaked information suggests that this map will consist of several underground waypoints, indicating the presence of multiple layers of terrain to explore. Additionally, players can anticipate encountering a new domain within this region, housing an enemy named Idyia, who bears striking resemblances to the Oceanid found in Liyue's Qingce area.

One of the reasons why this beloved Summer-themed annual event is highly anticipated is because it offers numerous smaller objectives that allow players to obtain a generous amount of free Primogems. In the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.8, players can look forward to the return of four different characters, as there will be no new character introductions.

Among these characters, credible leakers have confirmed that Sangonimiya Kokomi, a Hydro catalyst user, will be receiving a re-run. Despite being initially overlooked upon her release, Kokomi has gained popularity due to the introduction of useful artifact sets and the new Dendro elemental reaction. She has now become an essential addition to team compositions that require a Hydro applicator.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
