Obtaining the Ember Armor Set in Tears of the KingdomThe world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is home to an array of climates, and Link will need to be able to cope with them all in order to explore it fully. Although there are certain areas with scorching temperatures, Link can turn this to his advantage.
Equipping the Ember armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will allow Link to unleash fiery attacks while in hot climes. However, while the armor can be used to withstand high temperatures, it does not provide complete protection from damage, and Link will need to wear other armor or consume food to avoid heatstroke. This guide will provide players with all the necessary information to locate the three pieces of the Ember armor set.
How to Get the Ember Headdress in Tears of the Kingdom
Located in the YunoboCo HQ South Cave, the Ember Headdress is a valuable treasure that players can obtain in the game. However, traversing through the cave can be quite challenging as the extreme heat can cause damage. To avoid this, players must equip at least one piece of the Flamebreaker armor set before venturing into the cave. Once you've obtained the treasure, you'll feel like a true adventurer!
To progress further, players need to take down two Horriblins and then break through a rock wall. This can be achieved by using a Bomb Flower or a rock hammer. Once the wall is destroyed, an unfinished vehicle will be revealed. Players must then attach the remaining two wheels using Ultrahand.
After completing the vehicle, players need to take it to the main room and drive it through the lava to the other side. The Ember Headdress can be found in a treasure chest there.
How to Get the Ember Shirt in Tears of the Kingdom
The Ember Shirt is located inside the Goronbi River Cave southwest of Goron City, and where the Goronbi River and Golow River meet. The entrance to the cave is near and below the YunoboCo Mineral Market.
To safely explore the cave, players must eliminate nearby enemies as they will encounter a Horriblin upon entering. Additionally, it is recommended to wear at least one piece of the Flamebreaker armor set. Inside, a flowing river of lava can be found with rock platforms that can be used to create small bridges. Utilizing Ultrahand, players can grab onto one platform and attach it to another to safely travel down the lava river towards the right.
Players will encounter a fiery challenge after crossing the makeshift bridge over the lava. They must face a Like Like that relentlessly hurls fireballs. Once victorious, players can repurpose the bridge as a raft to navigate the river to the right of the Like Like.
The key to finding the Ember Shirt lies on the other side of the river. Players should disembark on the right after passing a low cave and climb the wall into a raised opening. Here, they will discover a treasure chest with the coveted Ember Shirt inside. But that's not all - opening the chest will also reveal a concealed room with a riddle etched on a stone. This puzzle pertains to one of the pieces of the Link's Awakening armor set.
To obtain the Ember Trousers, players need to venture into the Cephla Lake Cave, situated on the west side of Cephla Lake and north of Kisinona Shrine and the Foothill Stable. Upon reaching the shrine, players should head towards a small camp behind it, where a blazing fire will be visible. The entrance to the cave can be found here.
Once inside, players will discover a single room filled with treasure chests. While most chests contain only a single Rupee, players can search through them all to find the Ember Trousers.
The true jackpot when it comes to the Ember Trousers lies within the chest that's lodged in the ground towards the middle-left of the cave. To obtain the reward, players must use the Ultrahand to grab and dislodge the chest. This treasure will provide a crucial clue on how to acquire the coveted Fierce Deity Sword.
