Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s daughter, Ella, recently graduated from college.

Ella, who studied at The Juilliard School in New York City, shared the exciting news on her Instagram.

She used Taylor Swift lyrics to express her feelings, saying, “YOU WOULDN’T LAST AN HOUR IN THE ASYLUM (@juilliardschool) WHERE THEY RAISED ME.”

Ella's recent social media post mentioned Taylor Swift's song "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" from her album The Tortured Poets Department.

In her post, Ella excitedly shared, "Yesterday, I officially graduated with a BFA in Acting from Juilliard! I am overjoyed to have completed this journey, incredibly proud to have persevered, and deeply thankful to my family for their constant support. I now have a degree in pretending! Yay!"

Stiller, who is 58, and Taylor, who is 52, got married in 2000. They have two children together, Ella and Quinlin, who are both 18 years old. Recently, Ella made a special appearance on the red carpet with her father in 2022. Stiller opened up about Taylor Swift in a recent interview with Esquire. He mentioned that Swift is very clear and expressive about her feelings, even if it's not always easy for him to hear. He admitted that it can be difficult to confront the ways in which he may not be fully present, similar to how his own parents were not always there for him. Stiller had always hoped to be different and more attentive in his relationships.

He continued by sharing, "I was trying to balance my own goals and aspirations while also considering what my kids needed. I've realized that my children aren't keeping track of my career achievements. What they truly want is a parent who is emotionally available and supportive. That's what matters most to them, more than my professional success."

Ben also reflected on his relationship with Taylor, recalling the challenges they faced that led to a temporary separation. "We went through a period of being apart, but ultimately we were able to work through our issues and reunite," he shared. Ben mentioned that they are now happily back together, with him moving back in with his wife. He described the experience as unexpected but ultimately positive, especially considering the circumstances of the pandemic.

After being apart for four years, Ben and Taylor reignited their relationship and have been making public appearances together, sometimes with their children. Taylor recently opened up about the reasons behind their breakup.

During an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in March 2023, Taylor shared that both she and Ben were growing in different directions, even though family was always a priority. The decision to separate was not taken lightly, and they chose to keep it private for a while. They reached a point where they had to figure out what was best for them in that chapter of their lives, looking back three or four years ago.

The actress shared that during their time apart, she and Ben were able to discover more about themselves. She mentioned to host Drew Barrymore that they both experienced personal growth, even as adults. Taking the time apart allowed them to figure things out. Despite the separation, they always remained a close-knit family.
