Elizabeth Banks Stuns with Exquisite Sapphire Ring on Milestone 20th Wedding Anniversary with Max Handelman

Elizabeth Banks showed off a stunning new ring on her Instagram Story to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with husband Max Handelman. The peacock-colored rock was adorned with a sapphire stone, surrounded by small diamonds, and had a jewel-covered band. Banks captioned the image as "The 20th anniversary ring," marking the special occasion.

Earlier on Wednesday, Elizabeth Banks, the Pitch Perfect star, expressed her admiration for Handelman, 50, as she shared a collection of black-and-white photographs from their wedding day. "20. Years. Married. Made a life together. Made a business. Made a family. Still mad for each other. We're doing alright," Banks wrote as the caption for the social media post, tagging her beloved partner.

The couple got married in July 2003 and have two sons together, Felix who is 12 years old and Magnus who is 10 years old. Both children were born through surrogacy. Banks has been open about her struggle with infertility, mentioning in a 2012 interview with Lucky magazine that it was a "womb issue" for her.

In a recent post, Banks shared a picture of her and Handelman walking down the aisle after exchanging their vows. The director of the film "Cocaine Bear" referred to marrying her husband as her greatest accomplishment.

Time passes quickly when you're building a wonderful life together. It's been 20 years, our proudest accomplishment, yet it feels like only yesterday. Sending love to everyone who celebrated with us. We couldn't have done it without you," expressed Banks. This is not the first instance where Banks lauded her spouse, as she previously shared exclusive details about her marriage to We in February 2019.

My husband and I have an excellent partnership. We work exceptionally well together, with a great deal of mutual respect and a perfect balance. I am a passionate artist, while he remains an even-keeled politician. Our relationship blossomed during our time at the University of Pennsylvania, and I credit our success in both personal and professional endeavors to that fateful connection.

Banks also shared details about a romantic gesture from Handelman. "For my birthday, he selflessly took the kids to soccer in the rain while I indulged in a relaxing massage," she revealed.
