Already contemplating the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce's father, Ed Kelce, is eagerly anticipating attending the event alongside Taylor Swift, despite the fact that the 2023 NFL season is not even halfway through.
Ed confidently expressed his readiness to reserve a seat for Swift at Super Bowl LVIII next year. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on Wednesday, October 25, Ed mentioned that Swift would be in the midst of her Eras Tour. However, it is worth noting that although Swift will be occupied with performances throughout February 2024, she does not have a concert scheduled on Sunday, February 11, which coincides with the Super Bowl. Following her show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10, she will have a break until February 16, when she will travel to Melbourne, Australia.
However, Travis, aged 34, and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs still have a considerable journey ahead of them before reaching the Super Bowl, as there are still 10 weeks remaining in the regular NFL season. As of now, the team holds a record of 6-1 and is ranked first in their division. The upcoming game against the Denver Broncos is scheduled for Sunday, October 29.
Since starting a romantic relationship with Travis earlier this autumn, Swift has attended four Chiefs games. Most recently, she traveled to Kansas City to support Travis during the team's home game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 22. Swift displayed her allegiance to Travis by wearing a vintage Chiefs sweatshirt and a friendship bracelet featuring his jersey number, 87.
After the game, Swift was accompanied by Travis to a Missouri-based Argentine steakhouse called Piropos for dinner. It is said that they arrived in style in a Rolls-Royce, and relished their dinner for approximately two hours.

Earlier this month, Ed expressed his immediate admiration for his son's girlfriend when he witnessed her cleaning up litter in the family's box at Arrowhead Stadium. In an interview with People, published on Monday, October 23, he shared, "When I first met Taylor, I noticed something very special about her. While we were sitting in the suite, she got up and went to the front room to grab a drink or something. Along the way, she started picking up the empty bottles, cans, and plates that were scattered around."
He continued, "In the suites, everyone leaves their belongings wherever they please. But Taylor didn't seem to care about being a diva or a spoiled musician. It was clear to me that she didn't know how to put on an act like that, and that really spoke volumes to me."
Ed is supportive of Travis and Swift's relationship, but Travis and his brother Jason Kelce are not as excited about their father talking to the famous pop star. On their "New Heights" podcast episode on October 18, Travis jokingly expressed his fear of the conversation between Swift and Ed, stating that he feels sorry for Taylor. Jason, on the other hand, suggested that Swift should speak to their mother, Donna Kelce, instead. He humorously remarked that when their father has conversations that they cannot hear, they have no idea where those conversations may lead.
