Introduction to Dusk Form Lycanroc
Trainers have one more Pokemon to collect as Dusk Form Lycanroc makes its debut in Pokemon GO during the Lustrous Odyssey event. The upcoming Pokemon GO event, Lustrous Odyssey, will mark the debut of Dusk Form Lycanroc in Niantic’s popular mobile game. This additional Lycanroc version joins the already available Midday and Midnight Form Lycanroc and adds one more creature for Pokemon GO trainers to collect.

Dusk Form Lycanroc was first introduced with the release of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in 2017. Dusk Form Lycanroc is the evolution of Rockruff when it levels up during the evening. Its appearance is a combination of Lycanroc’s Midday and Midnight Forms with orange-gold fur, a unique color pattern compared to its other forms. Dusk Form Lycanroc is considered the rarest Rockruff evolution and is therefore sought after by trainers who want to complete their Pokemon collection.
Dusk Form Lycanroc will make its debut with the launch of the Lustrous Odyssey event in Pokemon GO on January 6 at 10am local time. Trainers will have a chance to get a Dusk Form Lycanroc when they evolve their Rockruff, and they can even get a Shiny Dusk Form Lycanroc if they evolve a Shiny Rockruff. To increase their chances of getting a Dusk Form Lycanroc, players can complete Field Research tasks to encounter a Rockruff or evolve their Rockruff hatched from Eggs received as Adventure Sync rewards from Pokemon GO Timeless Travels special research tasks.
How to Evolve Rockruff to Dusk Form Lycanroc
Unlike the Midnight and Midday Form Lycanroc, Dusk Form Lycanroc can only be evolved from a Rockruff obtained during the Lustrous Odyssey event.
To evolve Rockruff to Dusk Form Lycanroc:
1. Get a Rockruff during the Lustrous Odyssey event, either from an egg, in the wild, or by completing Field Research tasks
2. Wait until the evening so you don't get a Midday or Midnight Form Lycanroc
3. Spend 50 Candy
