Dune: Spice Wars - Master the Art of Village Domination with These Proven Strategies

In Dune: Spice Wars, developed by Shiro Games, players are immersed in Frank Herbert's renowned fictional universe. They are tasked with engaging in faction-based battles to seize control of precious resources. As players navigate the unforgiving desert, they will encounter numerous villages brimming with valuable assets.

Successfully dominating these territories is pivotal to securing triumph in Dune: Spice Wars. This comprehensive guide will enlighten players on the strategies required to recruit troops and conquer villages within the game.

How to Conquer a Village in Dune: Spice Wars

To attack a village, players must first recruit army units. Click the 'plus' icon under the military tab in the drop-down menu on the right side of the screen. Dune: Spice Wars offers seven types of military units: Trooper, Ranger, Heavy Weapon Squad, Support Drone, Warden, Hawk, and Kraken. Trying different unit combinations is recommended for optimal results.

Once an army unit has been recruited, players can use an Ornithopter to investigate the surroundings. By default, players have one Ornithopter and can build another by clicking the 'plus' icon under the 'Ornithopters' tab. If the Ornithopter discovers a neutral village, players can claim it. However, capturing a village is not an easy task as each village is protected by native militias that must be defeated.

What to Do After Conquering a Village

In order to launch an attack on a village, players must first choose an army unit and then right-click on the desired village to acquire it. As the military units approach the village, the soldiers from the village will emerge, leading to a battle between both parties. The more villages a player acquires, the greater their resources will be, thereby increasing the chances of obtaining more spice.

Once a village is successfully captured, players are given two options: pillaging or liberating. If the village was previously controlled by an opposing faction, players can choose to liberate it in order to disrupt their economy. Alternatively, players can decide to pillage the village in order to acquire its resources. Additionally, they have the ability to construct various buildings in the occupied villages, such as Dew Collectors and Plascrete Factories. To do so, players must select a village, navigate to the 'Buildings' tab, and place their desired building.
