Drew Barrymore's daughters have noticed her preference for the no-underwear life. During a recent episode of her talk show, Barrymore, 48, shared that her daughter often tries to pants her because she knows she's not wearing any underwear. It's all in good fun, but Barrymore reminds her daughter to keep it inside the house.

Barrymore has two daughters, Olive and Frankie, with her ex-husband Will Kopelman. The girls have seen their mom's preference for going without underwear.

On Thursday, Barrymore simply stated, "I like going commando."

Her TV sidekick, Ross Mathews, asked the actress why she preferred not wearing underwear. "Because it freaks me out," Mathews, 44, shared. "It makes me so uncomfortable - anything could happen. No, it could go really wrong."

Barrymore then elaborated on her viewpoint.

She joked about her daughter pulling her pants down, mentioning that she wears sweatpants every day because of the comfortable material.

Barrymore has explained to her daughters, Olive and Frankie, that pulling her pants down is only a joke for inside the house. She has also been open about how motherhood has helped her become a "better" person.

"I struggle with the idea of putting on the oxygen mask on myself first, everyone talks about it. But for me, my kids are my guiding light," she shared exclusively with We in her February cover story. "In their honor, I have become a better version of myself, and I genuinely like that person."

Reflecting on motherhood, she added, "It feels so surreal to me. When I see my kids facing challenges similar to ones I've experienced, my first reaction is fear. But then, I remind myself to stay calm, be proactive, show empathy, and focus on setting boundaries and providing guidance. I ask myself, 'How can I handle this? Do I have the skills to help them through this?'"

Barrymore told Us that she doesn't have a set plan for herself, but she is fully focused on being a good parent to her children.

She emphasized the importance of wanting to do her best for her kids, stating that it's not about being perfect but about giving it your all.

Barrymore also mentioned the significance of putting in the effort and doing research to find the answers, rather than waiting for them to come to you. She compared it to going out and searching for something valuable, like wearing a headlamp and exploring until you find what you're looking for.
