Drew Barrymore experienced an unforgettable kiss during a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show when she surprised Matt Bomer with a smooch. The 48-year-old actress shared the unexpected moment with the 46-year-old actor after complimenting him on his looks.
"I can't believe I'm sitting next to you, Matt. You're so attractive," she said to the star of Fellow Travelers, who has been married to Simon Halls since 2011. "It's strange, I only seem to be attracted to gay men, I never meet a straight man who catches my eye. What's wrong with me?"
Bomer responded, "You've got great taste!"
Barrymore noted that she and Bomer share something in common - they both kissed the same man, who also happens to be gay. The man in question is Andrew Rannells. In a November episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Rannells, 45, kissed Barrymore multiple times, and he and Bomer also locked lips during a "Uncomfortably Close" challenge on a 2018 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
Noting the connection to Rannells, Bomer suggested that he and Barrymore “close the circle.” The Doom Patrol alum then leaned in and planted a gentle kiss on Barrymore who beamed and collapsed backward on her chair in bliss. Bomer followed her lead and swooned.

"“This is all I have. This is all I get!” Barrymore exclaimed, sitting up. “I’ll just be in my single, celibate phase and daydream while coming to work, where I’m living the best life.”
Barrymore also raved about Bomer’s costar in Fellow Travelers, Jonathan Bailey, who was seated next to Bomer. After acknowledging the "hot sex" in the pair’s Showtime series, Barrymore praised Bailey’s performance in Bridgerton."
She told 35-year-old Bailey that he had made her blush more in the last few years than she could handle, comparing his roles in Bridgerton and Fellow Travelers.
"You exude such confidence and a commanding presence, making me feel like 'Whatever you say!' as a woman. And then, as a beautiful gay man in an intimate relationship, you make me sob in my bed, reminding me of how lucky we are to have love in this life," she expressed.
