Dragon's Dogma 2 Expected to Launch in March 2024

Dragon's Dogma II is set to be released on March 22, 2024, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S as indicated on the game's Steam page. In preparation for today's showcase, Capcom updated the page with the apparent release date. The showcase will include a 15-minute livestream featuring gameplay and new game details. Hideaki Itsuno, the game director, had previously confirmed that the release date would be revealed, likely during the showcase and not through a Steam listing update.

Earlier this month, the release date for Dragon's Dogma II was leaked through a PEGI rating, although it was later deleted. However, the same release date of March 22, 2024, was listed on the ratings page. The Steam page now appears to confirm the initial leak.

Itsuno stated that Grand Theft Auto V was a source of inspiration for Dragon's Dogma II, as they wanted to create a "living world" within the game. The announcement for Dragon's Dogma II was made in June 2022, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the first game.
