2023 Video Game Release Calendar: Never Miss a Launch!

January 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting month for gamers with a variety of genres to choose from. The highly anticipated Dead Space remake will finally be released, while One Piece Odyssey will give the iconic manga the RPG treatment. Fire Emblem Engage and Persona 3 and 4 will also be making their way to modern consoles for the first time. In addition, gamers can look forward to Forspoken, a new action-RPG from the team behind Final Fantasy 15. For the January 2022 video game releases, Persona 3 Portable, A Space for the Unbound, and Aquatico are all set to launch on January 19th across various platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and XSX/S. On January 20th, players can look forward to Fire Emblem Engage and Monster Hunter Rise on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and XSX/S. Forspoken is coming to PC and PS5 on January 24th, while Hi-Fi Rush will be released on PC and Xbox on January 25th. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - Rise of Rasalhague is launching on January 26th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and XSX/S. On January 27th, Dead Space Remake will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Finally, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition will be released on Xbox One and XSX/S on January 31st alongside Season: A Letter to the Future for PC, PS4, and PS5, and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

Looking ahead to February 23, 2023, there are several highly anticipated releases including the launch of Sony's PSVR 2. Hogwarts Legacy, a new Final Fantasy rhythm game called Threatrhythm: Final Bar Line, a remastered version of Tales of Symphonia, and the sequel to Octopath Traveler are also set to release on this date. Additionally, a new expansion for Destiny 2 will be available to players.

Moving on to April, Dead Island 2 is finally set to release after years of waiting. Fans of Horizon's Forbidden West can also look forward to the Burning Shores expansion. Additionally, a Mega Man Battle Network collection featuring all six games will be available from Capcom. Meet Your Maker will be releasing on April 4th for PC, PS4/5, Xbox One, and XSX/S.
