Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy prioritize being connected at bedtime, even when they are far away from each other.

Although Wahlberg, 54, and McCarthy, 51, reside in Illinois, their work commitments often keep them apart. Wahlberg, a member of New Kids on the Block, films Blue Bloods in New York City, while McCarthy is a judge on The Masked Singer in Los Angeles.

Now, with FaceTime, they can feel like they are in the same space.

Mark Wahlberg shared on The Drew Barrymore Show that he and his partner have the luxury of sleeping together even when they are apart. He mentioned that whoever falls asleep first just gives the other a call. This way, they can spend the entire night together even when they are physically apart. Wahlberg emphasized that it's not about insecurity or a need to do this, but rather a choice they make out of love.

The couple will mark their 10-year anniversary on August 31, 2024. They tied the knot in 2014.

Prior to his current marriage, Wahlberg was married to Kimberly Fey. Their marriage lasted from 1999 to 2010, and they have two sons together: Xavier, who is now 20 years old, and Elijah, who is 12 years old.

McCarthy was married to John Asher from 1999 to2005, and they share one son, Evan, 21.

Wahlberg said FaceTime is the next best thing to actually being with his wife.

"It's like, why not? Right? We're going to miss each other, so why wake up feeling like you missed out on time together. If you wake up at three in the morning and can't sleep, just give me a tap on the shoulder through the phone. I'll wake up and keep you company for a while," he shared on the show.

Wahlberg plays NYPD Detective Danny Reagan on the show Blue Bloods. He was joined by Bridget Moynahan, who plays his sister, Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan, on The Drew Barrymore Show.

Moynahan, 52, added that she feels McCarthy’s presence during her scenes with Wahlberg.

Jenny McCarthy is often seen with her phone at family dinners, constantly checking it in-between takes. Her friends and family jokingly call her out on it, saying "Jenny!" to get her attention.

In addition to connecting on FaceTime, Wahlberg also uses a more traditional way of showing love to his wife.

McCarthy recently revealed to People that her husband always sends her flowers.

"He never misses a Monday, it's been 10 years now," she shared with the publication recently. "He always treats me like a queen."

"He means everything to me. I still get butterflies around him. He's the love of my life."

McCarthy shared, "He really adores my son Evan and his own kids. I care for his kids as if they were my own."

Reflecting on their past marriages, McCarthy mentioned that she and Wahlberg have learned the key to a successful and happy relationship.

"We've both been through a lot in this lifetime, but I believe we've come out stronger because of it," she said. "We've faced challenges and difficult times, but we've grown and learned from them. Now, we're able to appreciate the happiness and peace we have in our lives."
