Three labyrinths are located on the outskirts of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Inside each labyrinth is a shrine that players must solve a maze to reach. The Mayaotaki Shrine is hidden within the North Lomei Labyrinth, which players must search for. The area surrounding the shrine is covered in intense cold weather, so players should prepare accordingly before attempting to reach it.
Mayaotaki Shrine's location in TotK remains a mystery until players discover it themselves.
The Mayaotaki Shrine is situated in the heart of the North Lomei Labyrinth, on the edge of the picturesque Hebra region. To locate the entrance to the labyrinth, players need to make their way to the coordinates -0958, 3534, 0234, where they will also come across a small research camp.
One of the easiest ways to reach the labyrinth is by fast traveling to the Oshozan-u Shrine and then heading towards the east, through the stunning Tabantha Tundra.
To reach the Mayaotaki Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, players must navigate through the frozen North Lomei Labyrinth, which is shrouded in Gloom. The labyrinth has multiple pathways leading to the center, some easier to traverse than others.
One way to navigate through the labyrinth is by following the path of Hylian Pine Cones, which were left behind by a Zonai researcher. Although not the shortest route, it is a safe and reliable method to traverse the maze-like corridors.
If players opt for a different route towards the northwestern region of the maze, they may come across the elusive Gloom Spawn lurking around a bend.
To reach the Mayaotaki Shrine swiftly, players can either climb or fly to the top of the labyrinth and advance towards the star on the map above. At the coordinates -0766, 3521, 0234, players can descend to the corridor below, where they will discover the latter part of the researcher's trail.
Upon reaching the entrance to the central chamber, players will be greeted by a ladder illuminated with braziers. Climbing up the ladder will lead them into the room where they can discover the Mayaotaki Shrine and a Zonai terminal that activates the "The North Lomei Prophecy" side quest.
Upon entering the shrine, players will be greeted by Rauru's Blessing, which offers a free Light of Blessing, and a chest containing a valuable Diamond. As they leave the shrine, players should keep an eye out for a hole in the ceiling above, which, if followed, will lead them to a hidden chest containing the coveted Big Battery Zonai Device.
