Destiny 2 is currently in the second half of the Season of the Deep, with the seasonal narrative concluded and the Solstice event underway. Throughout the season, exciting revelations have been made about The Witness, its origins and goals, Xivu Arath's relationship with her siblings, and the continued involvement of Savathun. Bungie has an upcoming showcase stream on August 22, 2023, where they will reveal more about what's planned for the rest of the year, specifically providing a detailed look into The Final Shape.

This canvas has become a dynamic space where users contribute to its ever-evolving artistic direction. Within this canvas, a group of Destiny 2 players paid homage to Reddick by replicating the double-headed eagle design found on Commander Zavala's shoulder plate. The tribute includes Reddick's name, the years of his birth and death, and the Latin motto of Destiny, "Per Audacia Ad Astra," which roughly translates to "to the stars through boldness."
