Denise Richards' daughter, Sami Sheen, defies her mother's advice and undergoes breast augmentation, sparking controversy

Despite her mother Denise Richards' disapproval of breast implants, Sami Sheen made the decision to proceed with the procedure. On November 15th, at the age of 19, Sami took to social media to reveal that she had already undergone the surgery.
"Guess who just got a brand new set todayyy," she exclaimed in the caption of an Instagram Story, showcasing herself in a hospital gown. In a subsequent slide, Sami uploaded a mirror selfie, showcasing the markings artfully drawn on her body by the skilled plastic surgeon.
Close to a fortnight ago, Sami disclosed her lifelong desire for breast implants that originated from her early childhood."
"I was only 10 years old and I would eagerly anticipate having larger breasts like my mother," she shared with Bustle in October. "All my friends were developing breasts, and I would often wonder when it would be my turn. I used to even stuff my bra with socks and other items."
Nonetheless, Richards, who is 52 years old, confessed that she did not support the idea of her daughter getting breast implants. (She shares two daughters, Sami and Lola, both 18, with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Additionally, Richards is a mother to her adopted daughter Eloise, who is 12 years old.)
"I am currently attempting to dissuade her from going through with it. The main reason behind my efforts is that I was unaware of the toxicity associated with the surgery when I was 19," revealed the former cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. "Moreover, the procedure is far from effortless and brings about considerable pain!" Richards, who had her breast implants done at the same age as her daughter, has previously expressed remorse over the surgery.
"I had a regretful experience when I was 19 years old. The doctor who performed my breast augmentation used implants that were larger than what I had originally requested. At that time, I didn't take the initiative to thoroughly research the doctor beforehand," she exclusively disclosed to We magazine in 2011. "I simply assumed that because they were a plastic surgeon, they would be competent. It is essential to advocate for your own body and ask numerous questions."
Regardless of her mother's personal account, Sami remained determined to proceed with the surgery. In September, she candidly informed her followers that she was attempting to quit vaping prior to her scheduled breast augmentation procedure.
"I'm filled with fear, unsure of how I'll navigate life without this addiction," she expressed in a TikTok video. "It's truly disheartening. My entire existence revolves around it. I've relied on it for a significant period of time. I've made various attempts to break free, but it has proven to be incredibly challenging. I recently ordered a book called How to Quit Vaping by Allen Carr. However, I haven't started reading it because I simply don't have the desire to quit."
The OnlyFans model further disclosed that she understands quitting would lead to improved health and a longer life, but she feels uncertain about the process.
Sami reluctantly acknowledged that she has reached a point where she has no other option but to quit. She explained that her surgery is scheduled in two months and she must refrain from nicotine for a minimum of 30 days. Expressing her unease, Sami admitted, "I am already experiencing anxiety, you know? I have not gone a single day in the last five years without it. Honestly, I believe that undergoing this breast augmentation procedure will be a life-saving decision as it compels me to quit. So, we can find solace in that fact, at least."
