The official staff for the Delicious in Dungeon anime revealed a new trailer and key visual on Friday, December 15, 2023, to announce the show's release date, additional cast, and ending theme song. As per the promotional clip, the anime is scheduled to premiere on January 4, 2024.
Based on author Ryoko Kui's fantasy-comedy manga series of the same name, the Delicious in Dungeon anime was serialized in Enterbrain's Harta magazine from 2014 to 2021 and comprised 14 tankobon volumes. Due to its positive reception from fans, Kadokawa announced an anime adaptation in May of this year.

The official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle for the Delicious in Dungeon anime recently released a new promotional video, unveiling the anime's release date as January 4, 2024. Produced by Studio Trigger, the anime will air for two consecutive cours until June 2024. Tokyo MX will broadcast the anime in Japan, and Netflix will stream the episodes globally.
The latest trailer features a still from the trailer (Image via Studio Trigger) showing Laios, Mercille, and others trying different delicacies in the dungeon. While the Elven healer is hesitant to eat the dungeon monsters, Senshi's impeccable cooking makes her and others' mouths salivate.
The brief video also depicts Laios' fantasy of devouring the crimson dragon and offers a glimpse of the anime's closing theme, Party!! by Ryoku Oushoku Shakai. In addition to Laios and his companions, the trailer also features Kabru, the youthful explorer, and his entourage.

In addition, the names of the additional cast members have been announced. Wataru Kato will voice Kabru, while Rie Takahashi will star as the magician, Rinsha. The renowned voice actor Miyu Tomita will play Mickbell, and Tooru Nara will lend his voice to Kuro.
Yuya Hirose, known for his role as Mickey in Tokyo Revengers, will star as Holm, the young gnome, while Kei Kawamura will play Daya, the role of the dwarf. Along with the promotional video, the staff for the Delicious in Dungeon anime has revealed a key visual. The illustration shows a red dragon chasing Laios and his party.

Yoshihiro Miyajima is the director of the anime at Studio Trigger, with Kimiko Ueno as the script writer. Naoki Takeda is responsible for the character designs and Yasunori Mitsuda is composing the series' music. BUMP OF CHICKEN performs the opening song, Sleep Walking Orchestra.
Additionally, Kentaro Kumagai has been announced as the star in the protagonist role of Laios, while Sayaka Senbongi will play Marcille and Horisohi Naka will lend his voice to Senshi.
