Dancing With the Stars' Shocking Elimination Stuns Viewers on Monster Night

'Dancing With the Stars' thrilled audiences with a spine-chilling Monster Night, featuring sensational performances and a shocking elimination Discover which contestant bid farewell, leaving fans on the edge of their seats

The celebrities and their professional partners on Dancing With the Stars embraced the spooky spirit of Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st, with a thrilling Monster Night. While certain stars, such as Ariana Madix, openly expressed their fondness for this holiday, others, like Xochitl Gomez, were not as keen on the idea of being frightened during the live show.

At the judges table, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough were dressed in costumes as they were joined by guest judge Niecy Nash, a former DWTS contestant from the show's 10th season, where she was partnered with pro Louis van Amstel.

To start off the night, Jason Mraz and his partner Daniella Karagach took the stage dressed as mummies for a bone-chilling Contemporary routine. Despite Mraz's hopes for a perfect score of "10," the judges awarded him "9s" unanimously.

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber gave a tribute to Alyson's iconic role as Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a character she portrayed from 1997 to 2003. Before hitting the dancefloor, Hannigan dedicated her performance to the devoted fans of the show, complete with fangs.

Harry Jowsey made a strong return after confessing his devastation over the scores from last week's Most Memorable Year routine. In the rehearsal room, he received valuable guidance from Lindsay Arnold, the older sister of his partner Rylee Arnold.

Despite appearing injured after her routine, Gomez bravely returned to participate in the "Dance Monster-thon" marathon dance and emerged victorious, earning an additional five bonus points for the week.

The thrilling four-minute "Monster-thon" comprised two dances, namely the Hustle performed to the iconic hit "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees, and the Charleston danced to the lively melody of "Grim Grinning Ghosts (Dance Party)" by Kris Bowers. Notably, all the couples showcased their skills simultaneously, with the unfortunate consequence of being eliminated from the dancefloor if visited by the Grim Reaper.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Monster Night Had Scares — And a Major Elimination: Who Went Home?

Things got spooky on Dancing With the Stars as the celebrities and their pros celebrated Halloween on Tuesday, October 31, with Monster Night.

Ariana Madix and other stars expressed their enthusiasm for Halloween, but Xochitl Gomez did not enjoy the live show's scary elements. The judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough, wore costumes at the judges' table and were accompanied by former DWTS contestant Niecy Nash, who also served as a guest judge. Niecy Nash had previously participated in the show's 10th season with former professional dancer Louis van Amstel.

Jason Mraz and his partner Daniella Karagach began the evening in spooky style, dressed as mummies for a captivating Contemporary routine. Despite Mraz's desire for a perfect score of "10" from the judges, he ultimately received a series of "9s" across the board.

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber paid tribute to Hannigan's famous character, Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a role she portrayed from 1997 to 2003. Hannigan honored the show's dedicated fanbase before gracefully taking to the dancefloor, fangs and all.

Harry Jowsey bounced back after expressing his dismay over the scores from last week's Most Memorable Year routine. Partnered with Rylee Arnold's older sister, Lindsay Arnold, the duo received valuable advice during their rehearsal.

Although appearing to be injured after her performance, Gomez made a triumphant return for the "Dance Monster-thon" marathon dance. Not only did she participate, but she also emerged as the winner, garnering an extra five bonus points for their weekly score.

The "Monster-thon" lasted for a duration of four minutes and included two dance routines - the Hustle performed to the tune of "Stayin' Alive" by Bee Gees, and the Charleston executed to the music of "Grim Grinning Ghosts (Dance Party)" by Kris Bowers. All participating couples danced simultaneously, but if they were approached by the Grim Reaper, they were eliminated from the dancefloor.

During the Halloween episode, all the celebrities showcased their most frightening outfits. However, it was Jowsey and Arnold who bid farewell to their DWTS journey as they received the lowest score. Ultimately, Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater were the ones eliminated from the competition.
