Mauricio Umansky expresses gratitude to his fans for rescuing him from elimination on Dancing With the Stars after a mishap during his Light Night routine. In an Instagram Story video on Tuesday, October 3, the 53-year-old real estate mogul begins by acknowledging the long and eventful day, filled with both successes and challenges. He proceeds to extend his heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted for him, including his friends, fans, and The Agency, emphasizing the immense support he received in a time of need.
During Tuesday night's episode of the ABC competition show, Umansky encountered a setback while performing a salsa to "Quimbara" by Celia Cruz, Willie Colón, and Johnny Pacheco Y Su Charanga alongside his partner, Emma Slater. Despite a strong start, they had to improvise midway through the dance due to Umansky's lapse in the choreography.
Umansky expressed his gratitude to fans via Instagram, acknowledging that he had missed a significant portion of the dance. He attributed his continued participation in the competition to the votes he received, and expressed his enjoyment and appreciation for the support he has received. Looking forward to the upcoming week, Umansky hopes to deliver a stellar performance. He concluded by expressing his heartfelt thanks and love for his supporters.
Umansky expressed disappointment in himself for making a mistake during the routine. Despite enjoying the performance and being fully invested in it, he missed a step that they had previously executed perfectly. He acknowledged the error and stated that he was trying to channel his father, who was known as the Mambo King.
Slater, on the other hand, emphasized the strength of their friendship, which allowed them to seamlessly continue the dance. She stated that her mindset was focused on having fun on the dance floor, regardless of any confusion about the choreography. She emphasized that what truly matters is putting your heart into the performance and having the support of others.

Despite receiving the lowest score of the night, scoring a total of 12 out of 30 points, Jamie Lynn Spears and partner Alan Bersten were the ones eliminated after ending up in the bottom two.
As Umansky's DWTS journey progresses, he is already considering collaborating with Slater again, possibly on his Netflix series Buying Beverly Hills. When questioned about whether Slater, who holds a real estate license, should join his agency, Umansky stated exclusively to We, "She has no other option."
Slater jokingly expressed her nerves about mentioning her real estate license when she was paired up for season 32 of DWTS. She shared with Us, "How do you tell the real estate king that I also have some experience in it? But without a doubt, The Agency is the only agency I would choose to work with." You can catch Dancing With the Stars on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
