Former President Donald Trump has expressed his thoughts on the evolving romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, stating, "I extend my best wishes to both of them. I hope they find happiness in their lives, whether it be together or apart, although it is more probable that they will not."
Swift and Kelce, both 33, made headlines last week when the pop star joined Kelce at his Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, September 24. Swift enthusiastically cheered on the tight end, even exchanging chest bumps and high-fives with a friend, causing a frenzy among fans. After the game, Swift and Kelce were seen leaving together in a convertible before attending a private event with his teammates, where they were photographed getting cozy. This appearance by Swift at the Chiefs game came after Travis invited her to experience Arrowhead Stadium, having previously attended her concert there in July as part of her Eras Tour.
“I mentioned to her, 'You know, I witnessed your incredible performance on the grand stage at Arrowhead [Stadium], perhaps you should witness my electrifying performance there and compare which one ignites the crowd more,'" Travis stated during an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show” earlier this month. "Therefore, we shall await the outcome that unfolds in the imminent future."

Swift's support of the NFL star garnered attention from her fans and the league itself. Even football coaches like Bill Belichick and Andy Reid expressed their admiration for Swift, with Reid jokingly claiming credit for setting them up. The NFL further showcased their love for Swift by featuring her song in a promo trailer for an upcoming game. The official NBC Sunday Night Football Twitter account even captioned the video with "Taylor Made for Sunday Night."
Travis was extremely excited about Swift attending his game. During his "New Heights" podcast episode on Wednesday, September 27, the athlete couldn't contain his praise for the pop star.
"It was truly amazing to hear nothing but positive things said about her by everyone in the suite. Her friends and family were there and she looked fantastic... and to top it off, it was a perfect day for Chiefs fans. It felt like everything was planned perfectly," Travis enthusiastically shared with his brother Jason Kelce. "The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying."
Trump, on the other hand, is well acquainted with expressing his views on Swift. In the year 2018, he disapproved of her for endorsing Senate candidate Phil Bredesen instead of Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn in the election of her adopted home state of Tennessee.

"I highly doubt Blackburn is on Taylor Swift's radar," he sarcastically remarked. "I'd say my appreciation for Taylor's music has diminished by about 25% now, alright?"
In her 2020 Netflix documentary Ms. Americana, Swift openly discussed Trump's comments. When her publicist warned her about the potential backlash from Trump for criticizing Blackburn, Swift nonchalantly replied, "Screw that. I couldn't care less."
