Crystal Kung Minkoff Is Really Excited for Her Next Chapter After RHOBH Exit

Crystal Kung Minkoff is looking forward to the next chapter of her life after departing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
"I've been feeling really enthusiastic," Minkoff, 41, shared exclusively with We at the Gold Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 11. "The whole journey has been significant, and now I'm focusing on pursuing what I truly want to do, and I couldn't be more excited about it."
Minkoff joined the cast of RHOBH in season 11, which aired in 2021. After being on the show for three seasons, she recently announced her departure before filming for season 14 began.
In an Instagram video posted on April 15, Minkoff shared the news with her fans. She expressed mixed emotions about leaving the show, saying, "I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s very bittersweet." Minkoff also reflected on her time on the show, mentioning how grateful she was for the opportunity.
She went on to say that being the first Asian American cast member on RHOBH came with “a lot of weight” on her shoulders.

Minkoff's final season on the show was marked by a feud with new cast member Annemarie Wiley, who will also not be returning to the franchise.
Days after the news of Minkoff's departure became public, a source shared with us exclusively that she was feeling "devastated" about leaving the show.
According to the insider, Minkoff was let go from the show because she was not meeting the producers' expectations. They informed her that she lacked a compelling storyline, which ultimately led to her dismissal.
