Captain Lee Rosbach and Kate Chastain from Below Deck have a strong on-screen dynamic, but their perspectives on Bravo-related matters may differ. In a recent interview at BravoCon on November 3rd, 40-year-old Kate revealed her unexpected response to the surprising breakup between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke.
"If I were in that situation, I would have probably opted to get married and deal with the consequences later," the former chief stew playfully remarked. "After all, it's a fantastic celebration." Kate, who attended the since-called-off wedding as a guest, commended Lindsay, 37, for her admirable composure in the aftermath of the breakup. She also expressed her belief that in the grand scheme of things, it is likely to be beneficial for her.
Lee, on the other hand, concentrated on Carl's adjustment to the changes in his personal life. Before Carl and Lindsay ended their relationship in August, the 38-year-old captain had been set to officiate the wedding of the Summer House co-stars.
Lee mentioned that he saw Carl last night at their show and they had a great time hanging out together. According to Lee, Carl seems to be in a positive mindset and is excited about the future.
Lee is eagerly anticipating seeing Lindsay at the Las Vegas event, but he is troubled by how the public has responded to their breakup. The fact that people are choosing sides in this situation has greatly upset him, as there are no winners in such circumstances. Both parties are losing. Therefore, he questions why people feel the need to be in favor of either Team Carl or Team Lindsay. Instead, Lee believes that they should give the couple the space they need to figure things out and work on their issues without unnecessary interference.
Carl and Lindsay, who became engaged in August 2022, had plans to get married in Mexico this month. The wedding preparations were originally documented on Season 8 of Summer House but Carl informed the producers about their upcoming breakup.
Shortly after, Carl addressed the attendees in a letter, expressing Lindsay's deep sadness and devastation caused by his decision.

"We are deeply sorry for the immense challenges we have faced over the past two weeks," he expressed in a September statement. "We sincerely apologize to all our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. It was necessary for us to first understand how this situation occurred before we could determine the best way forward."
Furthermore, Carl disclosed, "Various misinterpretations and false narratives have added to our agony, but unfortunately, we have reached the decision to not proceed with the wedding at this time. Lindsay is devastated, and I am profoundly saddened by the sequence of events. We humbly request your patience and understanding as we seek healing and recovery during this incredibly trying period."
Lindsay has now shared her perspective on the situation, expressing her feeling of being completely caught off guard.
In the latest issue of Us magazine, Lindsay exclusively revealed, "It was an incredibly humiliating experience. It would have been easier to accept if this conversation had taken place during the regular filming schedule in the summer. However, for [Carl] to contact the producers, arrange for cameras to be present, and manipulate me into sitting down for him to break up with me after we had already finished filming is truly terrifying. The news spread worldwide within just 30 minutes of it happening to me."
The publicist stated that she has no intention of collaborating with Carl in the future. She expressed discomfort with the idea of sharing a house with him due to his past actions. The publicist emphasized her inability to trust him after he betrayed her by secretly contacting the producers and orchestrating a public humiliation.
