Is there going to be a Christmas Chronicles 3?
The short answer: no, The Christmas Chronicles 3 hasn’t been announced by Netflix at this time – but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future.
Kurt Russell has never been a big sequels guy, with the exception of Escape from LA, The Christmas Chronicles 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (although he debuted in the MCU in that film, so it doesn’t really count).

He appeared willing to reprise his role as Santa, expressing openness to the idea in an interview with The New York Times. "I've never been a fan of sequels, but that was 50, 40, 30 years ago. Now sequels are not even sequels anymore. We have come full circle and found our way back to making television. When you go to the movies, it feels like television due to its serialized nature," he remarked.
Director Chris Columbus suggested the possibility of a third film while discussing the themes of The Christmas Chronicles 2 in an interview with Comic Book.
He described a poignant scene in the movie where the characters are watching children make snow angels, and Mrs. Claus expresses her happiness at having real children in the village again. He noted that the reason behind her emotion is never explained, hinting at a hidden, slightly dark, and melancholic aspect of their past. He expressed his appreciation for the fact that this is not addressed in the movie, mentioning that it is detailed in some of the notes written by Kurt. He also mentioned the possibility of exploring this further in a potential third movie.
