Chrissy Teigen’s 8-year-old daughter Luna played a significant part in the making of the model’s 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.
“Luna was actually using the leaf blower on my hair,” shared Teigen, 38, during an interview with Extra at the SI Swimsuit launch party in New York City on Thursday, May 16.
“She loves seeing all this stuff ever since she was little. She loved watching me in glam, getting hair and makeup done. She puts on my shoes, everything.”
Teigen mentioned that her husband John Legend helped out during the shoot. Their daughter Luna was clicking the clicker for the video takes, while John was sorting through photos. The couple are also parents to Miles, 6, Esti, 1, and Wren, 11 months, and sadly experienced a pregnancy loss with their son Jack in September 2020.
After a ten-year break from modeling for SI Swimsuit, Teigen returned for the cover shoot wearing a variety of alluring pieces. One of her standout looks was a black cutout one-piece with a plunging neckline and strappy top. She accessorized with gold statement earrings and a soft glam look.
Teigen also modeled an orange swimsuit complete with high-cut bottoms and a deep V-neck. She elevated the number with a gold body chain and dainty earrings.

Chrissy Teigen recently shared a post on her Instagram account. In a previous interview with SI Swimsuit, she talked about her experience returning to the magazine. Reflecting on her journey, she mentioned feeling like she has lived through many different lifetimes since her first shoot. She expressed her love for how all the pictures and projects over the years are like chapters in a book.
She looked stunning at the publication’s 60th anniversary launch party in a crystal embellished Georges Hobeika set. The outfit consisted of a pink crop top paired with an orange miniskirt. Teigen and Legend posed together on the red carpet, with Legend looking sharp in a black suit.
