Chrissy Teigen recently injured her neck while attempting acrobatics, as revealed by her husband John Legend. According to Legend, Chrissy was trying to imitate their daughter Luna, who can be quite adventurous at times.
Legend playfully suggested that Teigen may have been influenced by their daughter Luna, who has been practicing real gymnastics. Despite Chrissy attempting to imitate Luna, it did not end well. The couple, married since 2013, have four children together - Luna (8), Miles (5), Esti (16 months), and Wren (11 months).
Fortunately, Teigen's injury was not severe. Legend reassured the media that Teigen is now feeling much better.
Teigen shared on social media last week that she had injured herself, posting pictures and videos of her wearing a neck brace. In a video on her Instagram Story on May 6, she reassured everyone, saying, "Oh, my God. I’m fine. Everybody’s reaching out. I’m OK." She explained that she was wearing a CVS neckband because she couldn't rotate her neck after attempting a headstand that didn't go as planned. She added, "And that’s all. There’s no story, I promise."
Despite her injury, Teigen attended the Accessories Council Excellence Awards in New York City on May 7 without a neck brace. She walked the red carpet in a stunning nude sheer dress with floral decals. During the event, she mentioned that she did not receive an invitation to the Met Gala this year, which took place on May 6.

While presenting the Design Innovator Award to Cult Gaia’s Jasmin Larian Hekmat on stage, she mentioned that she would have worn the outfit she had on to the Met Gala if she had gone. The floral designs on the dress would have matched the theme of the Met Costume Institute’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit and the evening’s “Garden of Time” dress code.
Before her neck injury, Teigen made an appearance on another red carpet where she posed for photos with her husband at the Los Angeles series premiere of Netflix’s A Man In Full. She looked stunning in a black strapless gown with yellow polka dots, while Legend looked equally stylish in a tan, brown, and black suit ensemble.
Teigen and Legend recently went on a family vacation to Thailand with their four children. Legend shared on Instagram that they have been visiting Thailand together for 17 years and enjoyed bringing their kids for Spring Break.
After their vacation, the family ran into trouble while trying to fly back to the US. Teigen posted on Instagram about spending five hours at the airport in Dubai, showing herself sleeping amid flight delays.
