Chrissy Teigen shared her experience of a scary incident during takeoff on an airplane, calling it her "worst nightmare."
In an Instagram Story on Monday, June 3, the 38-year-old model explained that the plane had an "erroneous takeoff." She admitted that she didn't even know what "erroneous" meant. The plane was going fast to take off but suddenly came to a complete stop, leaving her shocked and grateful to be alive.
She continued by sharing her experience of bracing for impact for about three seconds, convinced that they were going to hit something but thankfully they didn't. This sudden moment made her feel very religious.
The model remembered exclaiming "praise the Lord" as she observed the passengers heading back to the gate.
“I’m so grateful for these pilots and the plane for doing what it was supposed to do,” she said.

Teigen and her husband John Legend, who got married in 2013, have four children together: Luna (8), Miles (6), Esti (14 months), and Wren (12 months).
In another video, Teigen shared her fear of documenting a flight before a plane crash. She expressed, "My worst nightmare is taking pictures on a flight and then something bad happening. Imagine if my last photos were of me eating beer cheese on the plane." This thought brought her to tears.
"I'm thrilled," she exclaimed in the video. "This flight is amazing. We're having such a great time, laughing uncontrollably. No need to exaggerate this any further. We're perfectly fine. Everything is alright."

Chrissy Teigen has been experiencing a series of frightening events recently. She recently posted photos and videos on social media showing herself wearing a neck brace after suffering a minor injury last month.
She reassured her followers on Instagram that she was okay after the incident. She explained that she had a neck injury from attempting a headstand with a CVS neckband, which prevented her from rotating her neck. Despite the mishap, she assured everyone that there was no serious story behind it.
Even after the close call on the airplane and the neck injury, Teigen managed to have a good time. In April, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and her husband, John Legend, went on a family vacation to Thailand with their four children.
Legend shared on Instagram a slideshow of snaps from their trip to Thailand, mentioning that he and Chrissy have been coming to the country together for 17 years. He also expressed his joy in bringing all their children for Spring Break.
