Chase Sui Wonders has found comfort in the company of Joe Keery following her breakup with Pete Davidson. The 27-year-old Wonders and the 31-year-old actor from Stranger Things were seen together in New York City on Sunday, October 22nd. Photos obtained by Page Six show the duo strolling through the bustling streets, holding onto each other's arms and pausing occasionally to glance at Wonders' phone and share a moment of laughter.
Both Wonders and Keery were dressed appropriately for the cool autumn climate. The star of "Bodies, Bodies, Bodies" wore jeans, a black puffy coat, and wrapped a gray scarf around her head. Keery, on the other hand, sported dark denim, a blue and yellow sweater, and a navy blazer with a matching beanie. Both of them kept it casual by wearing sunglasses. This outing with Keery happened two months after Wonders and Davidson, aged 29, ended their relationship for good, which lasted less than a year.
"There is no animosity or resentment between them," a source revealed to We in August. They emphasized that neither party is at fault for the end of their relationship. "Their connection had naturally come to an end, as they realized their aspirations were heading in different directions."
Wonders and Davidson initially crossed paths while filming the horror movie Bodies, Bodies, Bodies slated for release in 2022. Speculations about a romantic involvement began in December when the duo was seen together at a New York Rangers hockey game. Their regular public appearances in the subsequent months, such as exploring New York City together and enjoying a day at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, only further fueled these rumors.
In January, it was revealed by another source that Wonders and Davidson had an incredible connection while filming Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, with their chemistry continuing even off-camera.
They later joined forces again for Davidson's show Bupkis. During the premiere of the Peacock series in April, Davidson praised Wonders, describing her as the best actress and expressing his confidence in her talent, stating that she has exciting projects ahead.
Wonders revealed details about her and Davidson's romantic relationship a month later in an interview with Nylon magazine. She expressively shared, "We have open and honest conversations about everything, and our connection feels incredibly sacred."
According to another source, the couple spent their free time together in June, constantly laughing and enjoying each other's company. However, their relationship encountered a hurdle in the following month when Davidson received a sentence for community service and attending traffic school. This penalty stemmed from a car accident in which he crashed his vehicle into a house in Beverly Hills. It is worth noting that Wonders was present in the passenger seat during the incident. Additionally, Davidson sought treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and borderline personality disorder, checking into a rehab facility during the same month.
Davidson has recently resumed his career in stand-up comedy and showcased his hosting skills on the season 49 premiere of Saturday Night Live on October 15. Making their debut as a couple, Davidson and Madelyn Cline, who were first rumored to be dating in September, attended the after-party of the comedy show in NYC on the same evening.
Although their relationship has only developed over the course of "several weeks," a reliable source revealed to Us earlier this month that Davidson and the 25-year-old Outer Banks actress are already deeply connected.
Madelyn and Pete had desired to maintain a low-profile for some time, particularly due to Madelyn's inherent preference for privacy. However, their extensive companionship has resulted in the rapid development of a profound connection.
