Caroline Stanbury, star of The Real Housewives of Dubai, has spoken out in support of using the weight loss drug Ozempic. In a recent episode of the “Uncut & Uncensored” podcast, the 48-year-old addressed the challenges of losing weight after turning 40. She shared, “After 40, we all know, it’s very, very hard to lose weight. I met so many 40-year-old women going, ‘How have you done it?’ And I don’t want to lie to you. I told you, I used Ozempic, which I think is one of the best tools if you’re able to use it.”

Stanbury mentioned that being around an unhappy, depressed woman is not enjoyable, but she expressed that she is genuinely happy now.

She recalled a quote by Kate Moss, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels," and mentioned that there is truth to it. Stanbury also shared that using Ozempic has given her the confidence to wear a bikini.

After trying the medication designed for type 2 diabetes patients, Stanbury noticed that intense workouts made her feel more hungry.

She shared, "My body is small and reacts quickly to changes. Sergio always comments on my physique, saying how quickly I can get back in shape. If you were lean before, you'll notice changes even faster."

Carrallo, 29, who married Stanbury in December 2021, mentioned that Stanbury has found her balance after transitioning from a sports background to her current profession. He also emphasized the importance of learning how to maintain her current weight.

Stanbury expressed that she is not striving to win any body of the year award. She feels comfortable in photos and is happy with her appearance, no longer feeling self-conscious about aspects like her arms or any flabbiness. Seeing herself in pictures now brings her immense joy.

She continued, "My face is symmetrical. I don’t have this weird lip thing that was going up on the show. One side went up more than the other because the top of the lip filler from years ago had migrated above my lips. And that’s the thing about fillers, they move around your face."

While Stanbury initially disagreed with Carrallo's use of the weight loss drug, he later acknowledged that the results of Ozempic are "amazing" and mentioned that the issue is that "people get addicted to it."

You did a great job! You were able to maintain a balance in your habits. At first, you may have stretched the truth about how long you kept it up, but it turns out you actually did it for about three months. Thankfully, you were able to stop and find a balance with your eating habits. Now, you are doing well and are healthy.

Editor's P/S:

Caroline Stanbury's endorsement of Ozempic for weight loss has sparked mixed reactions. While some applaud her honesty, others raise concerns about the potential risks and side effects of the drug. Ozempic, originally intended for type 2 diabetes management, acts as an appetite suppressant and promotes weight loss. However, its use for non-diabetic individuals has raised questions about its safety and efficacy.

Stanbury's experience highlights the complexities of weight management, particularly in midlife. She acknowledges the challenges of losing weight after 40 and suggests that Ozempic has helped her achieve her goals. However, it's crucial to emphasize that weight loss is a multifaceted issue, and medical interventions like Ozempic should be considered as part of a comprehensive approach that includes healthy diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. The long-term effects of Ozempic use for weight loss are still being studied, and it's important to consult with healthcare professionals before using it.
