Country singer Carly Pearce, who recently revealed a newly diagnosed heart condition, will continue to perform for her fans. Pearce, 34, shared on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with pericarditis. Although this condition won't stop her from taking the stage, she will need to be mindful of her heart rate during her performances.

"Sending you all a health update and lots of love," she shared in her video, where she opened up to her fans.

"Hello everyone, I've always been open and truthful about every aspect of my life, so I want to be honest about this too," she started. "You all know that I've been facing some health challenges and as a result, I've been diagnosed with pericarditis, a heart condition. I've been consulting with doctors and my cardiologist, and I still hope to continue touring."

Pearce is currently on tour with Tim McGraw on his Standing Room Only tour. The next stop will be in Toledo, Ohio on Thursday, May 30, following a short break. The tour will conclude in Sacramento at the end of June.

Carly Pearce shared in a post that her shows will be adjusted as she heals. She mentioned that the changes are necessary to keep her heart rate under control during this time. It's important for her to take this seriously for her well-being, but she reassured that she will be completely fine.

Pericarditis is defined by the Mayo Clinic as the inflammation and swelling of the thin tissue surrounding the heart. This condition is usually mild and may even resolve on its own without any treatment. The most common symptom is chest pain on the left side, and it can also cause coughing, fatigue, and a slight fever.

In addition to discussing pericarditis, Pearce also shared details about her upcoming album, Hummingbird, set to be released on Friday, June 7. She has plans to promote the album with a tour scheduled for early 2025.

"If you're planning to attend our shows or be a part of the exciting things happening with Hummingbird, it's going to be amazing," she shared. "It may just look a bit different, so I'm asking for your understanding. Most importantly, if any of you are facing health issues, just know that even someone like me, who is young and health-conscious, can still be affected. I want to use my platform to remind you to take care of your body and listen to its signals. Your body will always communicate with you.

"I appreciate all of you and look forward to seeing you soon," she concluded.
