During her concert on Saturday, July 29, Cardi B appeared to be displeased when a concertgoer threw a drink at her. Twitter was flooded with video clips of the incident, showing Cardi pausing her performance to react. From the footage, it is evident that the rapper responded by throwing her microphone towards the fan who had drenched her with the beverage. Whether any harm was caused as a result of the incident remains unclear.

Cardi even retweeted the video, which was shared by the verified fan account @updatesofcardi, on her official Twitter page. The post included the caption "Jealous Ass Bitch" and a link to her and husband Offset's new song, "Jealousy." We have contacted Cardi's representative for a comment.

The couple, who got married in 2017, released the single and its music video on Friday, July 28. This release has put to rest rumors of marital problems following accusations of infidelity earlier this year.

In June, Cardi took to Twitter Spaces to address the accusations made by her husband, a member of Migos. Denying the claims, she expressed that she couldn't be accused of things that he himself is guilty of. Cardi emphasized her identity as a prominent figure, stating that she shouldn't be blamed for everything and reminding everyone that she is not just anybody, she is Cardi B.

Speculations arose among fans before the release of "Jealousy," as they pondered if the track alluded to the rumored drama. Offset further fueled anticipation by playfully imitating James Brown's 1988 CNN interview, hinting at addressing rumors regarding the "drama" involving his wife. Nevertheless, Cardi refuted the notion that the alleged cheating scandal was orchestrated to promote "Jealousy."

"We called it a stunt they pulled with their relationship and that's exactly what it was. Lmfaoo. It wasn't just a stunt," she commented via Instagram on Wednesday, July 26. "Tasha K fabricated some nonsense and you all were laughing and thrilled about it. But now that we're incorporating it into our music, it's considered a stunt...Naaa, baby, be angry at the one who started trolling with it."

Cardi then reiterated her point on Twitter. "THEIR VAGINA WAS SO WET when the lie was circulating, but now there's a different story when we include it in the music," she wrote. "OOOO I'M EMPOWERING IT IN THIS SONG!!!!"
