Captain Lee Rosbach, Kyle Cooke. Bravo (2)
Captain Lee Rosbach expressed his indifference towards not encountering Kyle Cooke at BravoCon. Responding to Cooke's statement that he deliberately kept his distance from Rosbach during the event, the 73-year-old Below Deck alum mentioned during his "Salty With Captain Lee" podcast episode on Wednesday, November 15, that he was surprised by Cooke's avoidance.
When asked by his cohost, Sam DeCavalcanti, if not encountering Cooke was a memorable moment for Lee, the captain responded, "I can't say for certain if it was a highlight. Perhaps the fact that I didn't have to interact with him made it somewhat noteworthy."
Furthermore, Lee expressed that he was not offended by Cooke's choice to avoid him. "It was amusing to discover that he was intentionally dodging me. It's quite flattering, I believe, although I'm not completely certain," he joked. "That was certainly a unique moment at BravoCon."
Lee expressed his frustration towards Kyle, stating that he believes Kyle is partially responsible for the break-up of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard from the Summer House cast. This comment was made prior to the Las Vegas event that took place earlier this month.

Lee brought up Cooke's mention of Hubbard, 37, on Summer House while she was in a relationship with his close friend. Reminiscing about a scene from season 7, he recalled, "There was this one night when Cooke got incredibly drunk and started hurling all sorts of insults at Lindsay right in front of Carl. Surprisingly, Carl remained calm and didn't react aggressively, even though he had every right to do so."
Radke and Hubbard, both 38 years old, had planned to get married in Mexico later this month. They had gotten engaged in August 2022. However, three months prior to the wedding, Radke ended the engagement in a confrontational moment that was captured on camera for season 8.
During this incident, Radke expressed his awareness of the issues within their relationship. However, it was pointed out that he himself was a contributing factor to those problems. Lee, a close friend of Carl, called out Radke for constantly badmouthing Lindsay whenever he spoke to Carl, despite being supposed to be Carl's best friend. Lee expressed sympathy for both Radke and Hubbard and emphasized the need for people to refrain from speculating about things they don't fully understand, as their words can have a significant impact. Additionally, Lee expressed bewilderment at how Kyle and Carl managed to remain friends despite the circumstances.
Cooke expressed uncertainty about whether Lee was aware of the current happenings on Summer House, stating that he didn't believe Lee fully comprehended the show's complete history. Despite acknowledging Lee's close friendship with Carl and Lindsay, Cooke confessed to feeling somewhat surprised by his lack of knowledge. Additionally, Cooke had previously revealed that he was not surprised by the widely-publicized breakup.
"It's an incredibly challenging subject. Despite noticing the weaknesses in their relationship, I remained supportive. So, when I had access to certain information, I wasn't surprised at all," he revealed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in October. "Cancelling a wedding is perhaps more difficult than proposing, and I never considered that it could actually occur because it's a drastic step. This insight provides some understanding of their current situation."
Cooke asserted that he had a firsthand view of the highs and lows of Radke and Hubbard's relationship throughout the summer.
I don't believe Carl realized he was ending things until the conversation was already taking place. I only found out about the outcome afterwards. It was a very spontaneous decision," he commented. "I hope they can still share a summer house because it would be unfortunate for our time together to abruptly end."
Hubbard also provided her perspective on the breakup.
“I dislike the notion that we were constantly fighting throughout the entire summer. That is simply not true,” she expressed during BravoCon on November 4. “This is why it caught me completely off guard, because we only had a few arguments in the early stages. It is normal for couples to have disagreements.”
According to Hubbard, her summer was fantastic until recent events drastically altered the situation.
"It felt surreal, like a whirlwind of emotions. Contrary to the misconception that we had a rough summer, it was actually the best summer we've had. It was filled with endless fun and enjoyment, not just for me but for everyone, including Kyle. This narrative of it being a difficult summer is simply untrue." Radke dismissed Hubbard's claim that he intended to break off their engagement on camera, but he has chosen not to delve into the details at this time. Lee mentioned in the latest episode that their recent conversation about the breakup will remain confidential and not be aired."
"We did indeed conduct an interview with Carl Radke. Apparently, word got out as I've been receiving inquiries from curious fans asking about its availability. Regrettably, I must inform you that it will not be broadcasted, and the decision was not made by me," he disclosed. "If you're interested in discovering the reason behind this, perhaps you could approach Carl Radke. To clarify, we did conduct the interview and it was recorded, but unfortunately, it will not be aired. Therefore, I apologize to all those who were anticipating its release. It was my original intention, but circumstances didn't align."
