Caitlyn Jenner's Shocking Revelation: The Unsettling Truth About Her Stepparenting Role with Khloe Kardashian

Caitlyn Jenner wrote a heartfelt birthday tribute for Khloé Kardashian, acknowledging their relationship's ups and downs. Taking to Instagram on June 27, the 73-year-old expressed gratitude for being Khloé's stepfather, a blessing bestowed upon them by her mother. Jenner confessed to having shortcomings while vowing to always love Khloé and keep her in their heart. The message wished for a day filled with love, joy, and the presence of her children.

Caitlyn, the former athlete, shared a photo of herself and Kardashian, 39, from Kardashian's wedding to Lamar Odom in 2009. She also posted a nostalgic picture of Kardashian with Kendall Jenner.

In response to Caitlyn's post, Kardashian reposted the photo and message on her own Instagram Story, expressing her love.

Caitlyn's relationship with her stepdaughters, Khloé, Kim Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian, has been extensively documented over the years. When Caitlyn started dating Kris Jenner after her split from the late Robert Kardashian, she took on a parental role. They married in April 1991 and later had two daughters, Kendall, now 27, and Kylie Jenner.

Unfortunately, after being married for twenty years, Caitlyn and Kris, who is now 67 years old, announced their separation in 2013. In 2015, Caitlyn publicly revealed her transgender identity, the same year her divorce from Kris was finalized.

Following the publication of her tell-all book, The Secrets of My Life, in 2017, Caitlyn Jenner seemingly experienced a strained relationship with her stepchildren, particularly Khloé, with whom she claimed to have had no communication for several years.

Caitlyn claimed on an episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here in November 2019 that Khloé was upset throughout the process of telling their children about Caitlyn's transition. Caitlyn stated that they haven't really spoken to Khloé in the five or six years since then, despite having a close relationship and raising her since she was 5 years old. However, a source later revealed that this claim was untrue, stating that Caitlyn and Khloé have indeed interacted during that time, although their relationship may not be the closest.

Moving on from the drama, Khloé took some time to reflect on her current relationship with Caitlyn. After publicly supporting Kris against claims made in the tell-all book, Khloé admitted that she doesn't have frequent communication with Caitlyn, mainly due to their busy schedules and the constraints of the COVID pandemic. However, Khloé clarified that there is no animosity between them, stating that their dynamic has gone through significant challenges. Khloé also expressed that it has taken her mom a considerable amount of time to reach a place of emotional stability, and she isn't sure if her mom has anything more to offer in their relationship.
