Braxton Family Values concluded in 2020, and its cast members have since moved on to live luxurious lives. The reality TV series premiered in 2011 and gave viewers a closer look at the famous Braxton sisters and their everyday adventures. It featured Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, Evelyn, and Big Brother 2 winner Tamar Braxton, in addition to some of their close friends and family members. The WE TV series started with a bang in season 1, showing the sisters dealing with problems such as Trina’s alcohol abuse and the Braxton album drama. Braxton Family Values showcased even more personal issues in the following seasons and consistently stayed a highly-rated show. It concluded after season 7 after family members began having issues with how the network portrayed them on TV. In 2021, Tamar claimed that Braxton Family Values would return for season 8 but cited that it wouldn’t be on the same network. After months of waiting, it seems the show will be coming back soon.

Traci Braxton stood out for her entertaining personality and unique style. However, it’s bittersweet not to see her whenever Braxton Family Values returns to TV as she passed away over a year ago after privately battling esophageal cancer. The Braxton family bid their final goodbyes to Traci on March 12, 2022.

Tamar Braxton's Journey

Tamar Braxton became popular for her villainous image on the show. However, it wasn’t until 2020 that viewers realized Tamar was unhappy with the reality TV drama. In July 2020, Tamar attempted to end her life after battling with depression for many years. She discussed with Variety how toxic it felt to film the show, how the network had “excessive and unfair” work demands from her, and how she felt trapped. Tamar avoided drama and built her career over the last four years. She returned to reality TV in March 2023, joining Peacock’s Queen’s Court.

Trina Braxton is living her life to the fullest. The 49-year-old Maryland native is known for her singing career, talk shows, and reality TV gigs. The Family Matriarch and Former Spouses

Evelyn Braxton is doing great in 2023. The 75-year-old mom of six seems healthier and better than ever. Evelyn works as a life coach and spends time spreading positivity. Evelyn is also always on top of sending her family members well wishes on special occasions. In December 2023, she shared her love for her daughter, Trina, and congratulated her with kind words. The Braxton family matriarch wrote, “mommy loves you dearly! Enjoy every moment. Look at God.” Evelyn’s positivity is a big reason fans want her to return to TV.

Vincent Herbert, well-known for being a record producer and songwriter, married Tamar Braxton in 2008.
