Blake Lively took to Instagram on Sunday, December 17, to share a belated birthday post for her best friend Taylor Swift. In the post, Lively expressed admiration for Swift, calling her "even better in real life." She also wished Swift a happy birthday, showcasing the supportive friendship between the two.
Lively shared 10 photos from Swift’s birthday bash in New York City on December 13th. They were spotted holding hands as they made their way to Freemans for dinner and then to The Box for a bigger celebration. Notable guests at the 34th birthday party included Miles Teller and wife Keleigh, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, and Antoni Porowski.
Just before the birthday festivities, Lively and Swift had taken a girls trip to the U.K. for the London premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. Lively had kind words for Beyoncé and Swift, praising them for their support amid their busy schedules.

"When I was growing up, women were always pitted against each other," Lively shared earlier this month on Instagram. "It wasn't until I became an adult that I realized the importance of women lifting each other up and supporting one another. Most of my closest friends are women who, in the past, would have been seen as threats or rivals. It's our responsibility to show younger generations the strength in coming together rather than competing against each other."
Lively then added humorously, "All of this to say, @beyonce and @taylorswift, you don't have to worry about my potential to become a pop star. There's enough room for all of us."
Lively has demonstrated unwavering support for her close friends, not just as a joke. Shortly after celebrating Swift’s birthday, Lively attended an event for the Barbie movie to show her support for her friend America Ferrera on Friday, December 15. Lively, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn all made an appearance, effectively staging an informal reunion of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and donning matching shades of pink.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actresses Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Blake Lively all wore pink to celebrate Ferrera's performance in Barbie. Ferrara captioned a video of the quartet with audio from the 2005 film, expressing her love for the women. #SisterhoodForever ️
Tamblyn shared, "We prepared together, selected outfits, jewelry, and handbags together (aka raided Blake's closet), enjoyed meals together, and journeyed together to celebrate our beloved sister, @americaferrera, and her incredible performance in Barbie. I am immensely proud of our friend in a deeply profound way, and the remarkable path she is paving for herself and women everywhere. It's truly a delight to come together in this manner, embracing each other in the arms we've held, linked with, and nurtured as friends for 20 years. All in honor of a woman who continues to astound me with everything she does and is. Believe me when I say that some things truly are forever, and this right here is it."
