After the release of Black Clover chapter 368, the manga series revealed its move to Shueisha's quarterly Jump GIGA magazine. This shift was a joint decision by manga creator Yuki Tabata and Shueisha's Editorial Department in order to allow the creator to conclude the series at a sustainable pace.
It was also announced that the manga will resume in December, with a new chapter to be featured in the upcoming Jump GIGA 2024 Winter magazine issue.

The announcement of the release date for the next chapter of Black Clover was met with excitement from fans. After the manga had not been serialized for three months, any news related to the series was well-received by the enthusiastic fan base.
However, fans were disappointed with the announced length of the upcoming chapter. Manga series in Jump GIGA magazine typically have 50 to 60 pages per chapter, so fans were hoping for Black Clover to follow suit. Regrettably, the upcoming chapter is only set to have 28 pages.

The 28-page length of the manga chapter was well-received, but fans were not pleased about having to wait four months for so few pages. It was also disheartening for them to consider the possibility of future chapters being similarly short. However, some fans remained optimistic, seeing the shorter chapters as a sign that the manga series would be serialized for a longer period, potentially lasting for years.
Editor's P/S
As a fan of Black Clover, I am thrilled to hear about its festive comeback on Christmas Day 2023. The 28-page chapter is a welcome treat for fans who have been eagerly awaiting the return of this beloved series. The announcement has generated a lot of excitement and anticipation among the fan base, who have been eagerly discussing the potential plot twists and character developments that may occur in the upcoming chapter.
However, I share the disappointment expressed by some fans regarding the length of the upcoming chapter. Given that manga series in Jump GIGA magazine typically have 50 to 60 pages per chapter, the 28-page length feels somewhat short. It would have been satisfying to receive a longer chapter after a three-month hiatus, especially considering the intense cliffhanger that the previous chapter left us with. Nonetheless, I understand that the shorter length may be necessary to ensure the sustainability of the series and allow the creator to conclude the story at a steady pace.
