Following that, Lucius explained that despite the return of Asta and the Black Bulls, he still held the upper hand. He had a considerable number of angels at his command, three Paladins, and 11 clones of himself. With their collective strengths, Lucius was confident that there was no way Asta and Yuno could emerge victorious.

In Black Clover chapter 369, spoilers revealed a flashback to events following chapter 367. After Asta shared his Anti-Magic with his friends, Ichika, Captain Yami Sukehiro's little sister, caused a stir. Yami expressed concern, Magna felt intimidated, and Finral found her cute. Meanwhile, Gauche admired Marie, and Nacht was intrigued by Ichika's arrival.

Lucius observed Luck's attack and quickly recognized him as a threat. As he focused on Luck, Magna suddenly appeared behind him, detecting him as a significant Mana threat. Although Lucius managed to escape, Magna had already activated the Soul Chain Tag Death Match. Unlike his previous one-on-one battle with Dante Zogratis, this time, Magna included Luck in the fight as well.
He divided the mana among himself, Luck, and Lucius, making them equally powerful. Lucius realized he was at a disadvantage as his healing couldn't keep up with the damage he was sustaining. But he was confident that if his mana was being drained by Magna and Luck, their anti-magic was also being affected. This led Lucius to believe he could turn the situation to his advantage.
This was the very reason why Magna had turned the battle into a two-on-one handicap match. Even with their anti-magic weakening, they each still possessed half of it. Working together, Magna and Luck unleashed a joint assault known as the Demolishing Explosive Cannon. This devastating attack vanquished Lucius, securing the Black Bulls' victory in their inaugural battle.

As a Gen Z fan of Black Clover, I am thrilled to see Asta and Yuno finally uniting to take on Lucius Zogratis.
