Blac Chyna is providing fans with a unique glimpse into her life as a mother amidst her ongoing custody dispute with ex-boyfriend Tyga. On Thursday, October 19, the 35-year-old (known as Angela White in real life) shared an endearing picture of her children on Instagram. Captioned with emojis, the post depicted her son King Cairo, 11, and daughter Dream, 6, joyfully dancing together. Both children were dressed in matching red outfits and wore big smiles on their faces.
Behind the seemingly joyful photo, Chyna and Tyga (birth name Michael Ray Stevenson) are currently engaged in a custody dispute over their son, King. (Chyna has another child, Dream, with her ex Rob Kardashian.)
According to reports, the 33-year-old rapper recently filed for sole custody of King, aiming to have complete physical and legal custody of their child. Tyga also requested that Chyna be granted "reasonable visitation" rights, while maintaining their existing holiday arrangement. Furthermore, he requested written permission from Chyna before allowing their son to travel out of state.
Chyna had previously submitted a "petition to establish parental relationship," seeking both joint custody of their child, King, and child support. Court documents obtained by The Blast in August reveal that Tyga takes care of their child for more than half of the days in a typical week.
Tyga retaliated against Chyna's petition, his ex-girlfriend whom he dated from 2011 to 2014. In the comments section of an Instagram post in August regarding the case, he responded, "After 10 years... no, stick to your schedule from Saturday to Monday."
In court documents obtained by We in October, Chyna claimed that Tyga had not adhered to their existing custody schedule. "For instance, in January 2021, the Respondent kept King for two consecutive weekends without informing me or discussing his independent choice," she stated in a declaration submitted on October 2.
Courtesy of Blac Chyna/InstagramChyna further stated that the same situation occurred the next month, where she went for weeks without any sight of their son and remained clueless about his whereabouts. Without any court orders, she felt helpless in the matter. Despite considering legal intervention, she refrained from pursuing it due to the potential negative impact on their son, as media involvement and litigation would directly harm him. Consequently, she chose to remain silent.
In her legal document, Chyna asserted that Tyga abruptly ceased all direct communication with her in 2019, raising worries about their son's location.
Before their recent feud, Chyna had praised both Tyga and Kardashian, 36. "There has never been any animosity or negativity between Robert and Michael," she revealed to the Daily Mail in March. "It was simply a case of two individuals on separate journeys. Eventually, those journeys intersected, and that's how we had our children."
