Blac Chyna, 35, revealed on "The Viall Files" podcast episode on October 26th that her split from ex-fiancé Tyga greatly influenced her romantic relationship with Rob Kardashian. She described the situation as quite tumultuous and shared that she hadn't previously discussed it.
Angela White, known by her stage name Chyna, revealed her close friendship with Kim Kardashian before tensions arose with the Kardashian family. Chyna expressed her surprise when Kylie Jenner, Kim's younger sister, began a relationship with Tyga, especially considering Kylie's young age at the time. This situation led to Chyna being heavily criticized and attacked. She felt betrayed as she had been talking to Kim about her concerns, but Kim had no control over her sister's actions. Chyna questioned the fairness of being attacked in such a situation.
Chyna and Tyga, whose real name is Michael Stevenson, began their relationship in 2011 and became engaged after their son, King Cairo, was born in October 2012. Chyna mentioned on the podcast that she and Tyga ended their relationship when it naturally came to an end. Tyga, who is now 33 years old, started a new relationship with Kylie, who is now 26, in 2014.
Reflecting on the sequence of events, Chyna described them as "crazy," and on the podcast episode that aired on Thursday, she expressed that her involvement with Rob, who is now 36, only made the situation even more unexpected.

"Rob would message me privately," she recollected, acknowledging her initial hesitation to respond. "But then, I decided to engage in conversation."
Chyna soon discovered that Rob was genuinely pleasant. She further expressed, "Our connection grew stronger, leading to us falling in love and eventually having our child, Dream."
The couple first announced their relationship on social media in January 2016. Rob proposed to Chyna in April of the same year. In May, they learned that they were expecting their first child together. Their daughter, Dream, was born in January 2017, just one month after the couple ended their engagement. Rob and Chyna officially separated in early 2017.
"When everything was chaotic at the beginning, I'm relieved that I remained calm and composed," Chyna shared with podcast host Nick Viall on Thursday. "Now I have my son Kingy and my daughter Dreamy, who have played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. I am truly grateful for them."
Chyna refrained from addressing her defamation lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family during the podcast episode. In the lawsuit, which was filed in 2017, she sought over $100 million in damages, alleging that Rob's relatives contributed to the cancellation of their E! show, Rob & Chyna. However, in May 2022, the lawsuit was dismissed after a judge ruled in favor of the Kardashian-Jenner family. Subsequently, Chyna has provided limited information on her coparenting dynamics with Rob and Tyga.
In March, during an interview with the Daily Mail, she stated that there has never been any animosity or negativity between her and Robert and Michael. She described them as two individuals on separate paths whose lives intersected, resulting in the birth of their children.
However, Chyna filed a petition in August seeking joint custody of their son, having a "petition to determine parental relationship" against Tyga. It was recently reported by various sources that Tyga has responded by filing for sole custody and is requesting that Chyna be granted "reasonable visitation."
