"Extremely close friends," wrote the singer of "What I Was Made For" on her social media post, accompanied by a picture of a floral cushion. "Only [anatomical heart emoji]. My permanent sanctuary."

In another slide, Eilish responded to a fan's inquiry regarding her current relationship status. "Absolutely not," she replied with three smiling emojis and a selfie.

In May, it was officially announced that Eilish and Rutherford had ended their relationship, which lasted less than a year. Eilish's representative clarified that the split was amicable and that they still maintain a good friendship. Furthermore, the spokesperson denied any cheating rumors and declared them to be false.
