Billie Eilish has recently unveiled her largest tattoo to date.
The 21-year-old singer of the hit song "What Was I Made For?" often updates her fans on her daily life by sharing photo carousels on Instagram. On Wednesday, October 18, Eilish nonchalantly showcased her new tattoo, a sprawling and intricate design that stretches across her entire spine.
Captioned with a scissors emoji, the photo displays Eilish on a tattoo table, lying with her back to the camera to showcase her new tattoo. The tattoo, starting from the nape of her neck and extending all the way to her lower back, features an abstract design resembling scribbles, expertly created by tattoo artist Matias Milan from New York City, whom Eilish mentioned in the post.
This extensive tattoo adds to Eilish's growing collection of inkings. In an interview with Vanity Fair in October 2020, Eilish hinted at having a tattoo that her fans will never see. She expressed her fascination with tattoos, stating that she currently feels content with her collection and finds herself in a positive mindset about them. After feeling the urge for some time, she now feels satisfied.
She didn't completely oppose the idea of getting more ink and playfully remarked, "Just wait a bit longer and I'll get another one."
In a subsequent interview with Rolling Stone, she disclosed that she had the name Eilish tattooed on her chest.
In May 2021, Eilish stunned her fans with a striking dragon tattoo on her thigh, which was clearly seen in photographs for her Vogue UK cover story. The tattoo extends to the front of her hip and was also seen at a Met Gala afterparty, where Eilish donned a captivating red Oscar de la Renta gown with a daring thigh slit.
Just a month later, at the No Time to Die red carpet event, Eilish discreetly unveiled a delicate fairy design on her hand, subtly peeking out from beneath the sleeve of her shirt.
Eilish mentioned in a recent interview with Vanity Fair that she acquired a set of fairies a few weeks ago. These fairies originated from a childhood book she owned, specifically a small fairy book titled "Fairyopolis." During the interview, Eilish also revealed that the design of the fairies extends to her wrist. In a subsequent Instagram video, viewers can catch a glimpse of the fairy tattoo on her wrist, along with the top of her dragon tattoo peeking out from the waistband of her jeans.
