A recently leaked update from Genshin Impact has revealed a potential new playable character from the Fatui's Harbingers, set to join the game's roster during the Fontaine cycle. As fans eagerly await the release of the latest region, leaks have already started to surface about the upcoming gameplay and characters. In fact, in-development leaks have hinted at various new characters and locations that players can expect to encounter throughout Fontaine. The latest update has now offered an exciting glimpse into the next playable Fatui Harbinger.
Earlier leaks have already hinted at the involvement of multiple Fatui Harbingers in the Hydro Archon's story. Characters such as Dottore and Wanderer have been suggested to have significant roles in the latest Archon Quests and also in the main plot of the Sumeru region. Additional leaks have also suggested that Arlecchino and Sandrone may make their debut appearance in Fontaine. With the arrival of the new region, a new Fatui member will be added to the game's playable roster.
According to a recent leak by Genshin Impact leakers Tao and Little Teyvat, a new playable character named Sandrone from the Fatui Harbingers is set to arrive in Fontaine. Sandrone is a researcher of automatons and has been featured in teaser trailers alongside a large machine companion. Despite being only teased through trailers and character voice lines, Sandrone is expected to become the third playable Fatui member following Tartaglia and Wanderer. Additionally, leaks have hinted at the potential arrival of several new characters, including Lyney and Lynette, Cryo character Wriothesley, and an unnamed character from Fontaine's Navy. These characters are speculated to debut with the launch of Fontaine in Version 4.0, which is expected to be released in mid-August.
In addition to Fontaine, Genshin Impact players can look forward to a new limited-time region called Penumbra in Version 3.8. This new location, which has been leaked, is expected to serve as a precursor to Fontaine and will even feature new skins for Klee and Kaeya. With these exciting updates on the horizon, Genshin Impact fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming months. The game is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Switch version in development.
