Kate Chastain, Sullivan, and Captain Lee Rosbach. Bravo
On the October 16th episode of Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate, Kate Chastain delighted her former costar Captain Lee Rosbach by introducing her 5-month-old son, Sullivan, in a style true to Below Deck. She dressed him up in a miniature version of Captain Lee's uniform.
"Guess what? Our highly anticipated guest is all set," Chastain informed her cohost, unveiling Sullivan in an absolutely charming sailor's attire. "He dressed up just for you," she remarked, prompting a response from Rosbach, 73, who added, "And quite stylishly, I must say."
Aside from admiring Sullivan's thick head of hair and feeling ecstatic that the little one was fully awake for this special moment, Rosbach requested to hold the child, asking Chastain for permission. Chastain agreed, however, not without conducting a quick check for any unpleasant diaper odor. "He's good to go," she confirmed.
Sullivan's transfer, though, wasn't without its challenges as he started to whine in Rosbach's embrace. Chastain reassured Robach that it meant he was content, prompting her to swiftly return the baby to Chastain. Rosbach concluded the heartwarming scene by complimenting Chastain's efforts, to which she humorously replied, "Thanks. Definitely worth the nine months."
Chastain, who previously served as the Chief Steward on seasons 2 through 7 of Below Deck, revealed in December 2022 that she was pregnant with her first child. Earlier this year, she joyfully welcomed her baby boy.

Since Sullivan was born, there have been jokes among Bravo fans suggesting that Ben Robinson, Chastain's former costar on Below Deck, is the father. Chastain responded to these rumors on X (formerly Twitter) by captioning a photo of Sullivan, "Just to clarify, the only thing this handsome guy has in common with any chef is that he gets emotional during meal times." Robinson, who served as the chef on the show for seasons 1 to 4 before moving to Below Deck Mediterranean for two seasons, is not believed by Chastain to be the father. She mentioned in an interview in August that she doesn't think they even look alike, and finds the speculation amusing. She considers it a compliment to Robinson and is happy for him.
When asked about Robinson's feelings towards the rumors, Chastain expressed, "I believe he enjoys it. Ben enjoys it even more than I do."
The Traitors alum continued by sharing her experience as a new mother. "I love it immensely, but I am constantly surprised by the amount of effort it requires," Chastain told Us. "And that's coming from me, someone who was known for working tirelessly on Below Deck. It's a significant amount of work that I adore. Postpartum was not a big issue for me because I was so consumed with taking care of this baby. I am very lucky in that sense, and I am completely obsessed with him."
