Kate Chastain's 5-month-old son, Sullivan, is yet to speak, but he's already expressing his thoughts. Sharing a video on her social media, the 40-year-old Below Deck alum showed her son sitting beside her on the couch.

"I informed him that it was time for a nap, and it seems like he is well aware of his actions," she communicated through X, alluding to Sullivan's hand where all the fingers, except for his middle finger, were clenched into a fist.

Sutton Stracke, a Bravo star, expressed her excitement for the child, exclaiming, "I absolutely must have him at BravoCon! I am willing to babysit for at least an hour!!"

Chastain disclosed that she won't be bringing Sullivan along to the upcoming event in Las Vegas. As a reality star and moderator, this will be her first vacation away from her baby. She jokingly mentioned that she may require babysitting for at least an hour. Chastain became a mother in May and had previously announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post, expressing her excitement for planning birthday theme parties for her little one.

Revealing her intentions to raise her child without publicly revealing the identity of the father, the TV personality spoke candidly about her decision to embark on single parenting. "I have chosen to do it on my own, possibly with some assistance, but I am content with doing it independently," she disclosed during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in January.

Chastain enthusiastically shared about Sullivan's significant achievements since his arrival.

"Sullivan is now 3 months old, so I feel like I'm finally getting into a rhythm and genuinely enjoying it. I have a deep affection for motherhood, but I'm constantly amazed by how much effort it requires. And this is coming from someone who was known for working tirelessly on Below Deck. It's a labor of love," she exclusively revealed to We in August. "Dealing with postpartum has been smooth sailing for me because I've been totally consumed by taking care of this precious baby. I consider myself very fortunate and utterly obsessed with him."

Chastain remarked on the surprising advice she received from her loved ones, jokingly sharing, "Before I had Sullivan, many of my family and friends told me, 'It's okay if you don't immediately like him. Don't worry.' And I couldn't help but wonder if their own children knew they were giving me this advice." Reflecting on her experience, she expressed gratitude for being fortunate enough to have felt love for her child from the very beginning.

Furthermore, the ex-chief stew opened up about developing a strong connection with Sullivan during his initial months.

"It's a lovely feeling to receive a bit of reciprocation, like a smile or a giggle, when you're investing so much effort into something. They grow and change so quickly at this age that each day brings something new, and that's how they keep you hooked," she shared with Us. "There's a lot of work involved, but there's also a delightful surprise waiting for you every single day. It's their way of keeping you infatuated with them, which is quite clever."

Chastain has been sharing glimpses of her growing son on social media, but Bravo fans were in for a special treat earlier this month. During the season finale of Couch Talk With Captain Lee and Kate, Chastain's son made his television debut, adding to the excitement.

“Guess what? Our very exciting guest is ready,” Chastain told Captain Lee Rosbach before bringing out Sullivan, who was dressed in a sailor’s outfit. “He dressed up just for you.”
