Apart from releasing two singles, "16 Carriages" and "Texas Hold 'Em," from her album "Cowboy Carter" at the Super Bowl last month, Beyoncé, a Houston native, has also incorporated country elements into her previous songs. For instance, her 2016 track "Daddy Lessons" featured country sounds. Beyoncé even performed this song with the Chicks at the CMA Awards in the same year, but sadly faced racist backlash afterwards.

When I first started in this genre, I faced some criticisms that pushed me to overcome the limitations placed on me. In a recent post on Tuesday, the Grammy-winner shared that her new album "act ii" is a result of challenging herself and experimenting with blending different genres together to create this body of work.

As the release of "Cowboy Carter" approaches, Beyoncé hinted at some surprise collaborations on the album. She mentioned collaborating with talented artists whom she deeply respects, building anticipation for what's to come.

"This isn't a Country album," she shared in her post. She proudly declared, "This is a 'Beyoncé' album. Introducing act ii COWBOY CARTER, and I am excited to share it with all of you!"
