Bethenny Frankel, former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, is criticizing Andy Cohen for his dismissive response to the recent allegations made against Bravo. Frankel expressed her shock at his belittling of discussions surrounding alcohol and racism, particularly during these trying times. She also suggested that Cohen possibly believes he is untouchable.

Frankel responded to Cohen's action of leaving a laughing crying emoji on an Instagram post from the account @watchwhatcrappens. The post mocked the Vanity Fair exposé published on Monday, October 30th, which accused Ramona Singer of racism and criticized the insensitivity of production towards Leah McSweeney's battle with alcohol addiction.

The account suggested that the article from Vanity Fair merely confirmed widely known information about adults drinking and Ramona being racist. Frankel wasn't the only one who found Cohen's response to the post disappointing. McSweeney, 41, who was also interviewed by Vanity Fair for the exposé, shared a screenshot of Cohen's comment on her Instagram Story on Thursday.

“Wow. Andy thinks racism and addiction is hilarious. Good to know,” she wrote alongside the photo.

Bethenny Frankel makes an appearance on Andy Cohen's exclusive SiriusXM channel Radio Andy in New York City on February 8, 2016. Kristen Doute, former Vanderpump Rules cast member, also expressed her disappointment with a post on @watchwhatcrappens and Cohen's comment. Doute, 40, initially commented "not cool" on the post, then responded with "Wow" to Cohen's comment.

Apart from Cohen's subtle emoji reaction, he has not yet publicly addressed the allegations against Bravo. (We have reached out to Cohen for comment.) However, Singer, 66, has faced consequences.

Earlier this week, Singer was removed from the BravoCon lineup after Page Six published a screenshot of a text in which she used an abbreviated version of the N-word. The reality TV star had been texting a Page Six reporter about a previous Bravo investigation into racist remarks that Singer allegedly made in front of former costar Eboni K. Williams. (During the text exchange, Singer denied making the racist comment to Williams, 40.)

According to an exclusive source, it was mutually agreed upon by Singer and Bravo executives that it would be best for her to stay away from BravoCon. The insider mentioned that Bravo executives did not explicitly prohibit her attendance, but rather had a conversation with her where she expressed her current emotional distress and unwillingness to participate. The insider further revealed that Singer is deeply upset about the situation and intends to keep a low profile for the time being.

According to a source, Bravo cancelled Singer's planned trip to Las Vegas without consulting her. Another insider revealed that Singer was informed that she will not be attending BravoCon and it was not her decision.

During the "ReWives" episode on Thursday, Frankel expressed her opinion that Cohen should also refrain from attending the three-day convention, which commences on November 3 at the Caesars Forum and the nearby Paris Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Why wasn't Andy Cohen asked to leave BravoCon?" Frankel questioned, as she observed him laughing at something related to racism. In addition, the founder of SkinnyGirl pointed out that the negative publicity surrounding Bravo is offering Cohen a glimpse into the emotions experienced by herself and other Housewives in previous situations.

Andy’s career is giving him a taste of the Housewife experience for the first time. The constant scrutiny and lack of support leave him feeling vulnerable and alone. The stress even leads him to drink excessively due to anxiety. It is a grave situation for him. Frankel has accused Cohen of harboring disdain towards her because of her outspokenness about Bravo and her desire to form unions for reality TV casts and crews.

During an August episode of Rob Lowe's podcast "Literally!", she confidently stated that it is highly probable that everyone at Bravo, including Andy Cohen, holds a deep dislike for her. This animosity stems from both personal reasons and the need to safeguard the network's reputation. The situation she finds herself in is incredibly intricate, as she unintentionally created rifts with others and gave the impression of betraying those who supported her career. However, it is important to note that she achieved success through her own efforts, without relying solely on others. Unfortunately, there are many individuals who were not fortunate enough to receive the same level of support.
